By now, we see it does not work. All these yrs on this forum, I have always advocated the US withdraw from the UN, so what make you think I believe in the current 'rules based' international system? Without US, the UN crumbles. Simple as that. And if the US withdraw from the UN and that organization went 'phhssstt', how is that any different than the US being a hegemon? And if the UN went bust, that would definitely proved the international order is basically lawless.
