They call each other “comrades” and “friends”.
Interesting, just few hours before Le Hoai Trung travels to North Korea, representatives of China and Japan knock the door of Vietnam gov office. They probably want to know what Vietnam wants in North Korea.

I got bored and watched the Vinfast factory tour by this guy. Based on his conversation with one of the plant managers, Vinfast has been able to produce the electric motor, molds for the frame and other parts of the vehicle so they do produce something. I guess I haven't kept up with Vinfast for a while to realize that the second press machine Fargo Arrasate is also at the Hai Phong plant. It is side by side along with the Schuler machine as shown in the video starting at 17:44. To show how significant it is to be able to press the body of the car; foreign car assemblers like Japan and South Korea have always refused to perform this step in Viet Nam.

Japan offers destroyers and other weapons to the Philippines. You see any arms to Vietnam?
Will never happen.
The Japanese, Chinese or Koreans will never lift a finger to increase Vietnam military and industrial capability. Because they know for Vietnam making 1 million cars or 10 million cars is not a problem at all. All we need is money and technology. In this case pressing machines from Germany and Spain.
I think Europe, Israel, the US is the best source for technology transfer.
