Yes, US is likely to attempt covet operations in Vietnam to overthrow the current Vietnamese Communist gov and party and turn Vietnam into an US puppet. Vietnam is after Cuba possibly.

Possibly but that’s difficult. One, To Lam is protected by the Guard Command, a special commando. Two, Vietnam political system is not a one man rule. Another will follow To Lam. Third, Vietnam is the only country in ASEAN with domestic messaging app. Not easy for the US or Japan to infiltrate the public.
I would be more concerned about other.
And, last, don’t forget Vietnam domestic security is much like North Korea. Nothing goes unnoticed.

The other day I saw a clip of a Black kid whose brain was pop open by the savage White regime cop because he committed theft. I saw a clip of a 70-year old Vietnamese man whose neck was broken and he later died in ICU because he was slammed so hard to the ground by white regime cop..his crime was for not signing a traffic ticket he didn't agree to with the savage animals, you can't make this shiet up

The US is a money driven capitalism, culturally it is actually very diverse but has changed a lot in recent years. Much more radically under Trump. Those people think they are chosen. That’s big problem.

Trump US can't carry out color revolution in China, North Korea and Russia at least under Putin, so US is going to try on Vietnam next since it is easier to infiltrate and more susceptible to Western influences than the above 3 countries. Yanks would love to overthrow govs in China, Russia, NK, Vietnam, Cuba and Iran just as Venezuela. They see these countries stand in their way.

The news of Viet Nam buying Brahmos has always been purported and recycled by Indian media ..solely for at least 50 times in the last one decade. Viet Nam has zero intention of buying the Brahmos even in our early stages of missile developments circa mid 2010's. Brahmos is a great missile, but a great missile doesn't mean it can sell especially to a potential customer like Viet Nam because Viet Nam has a strict policy of domestic defense industries development ever since the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong took over. In the past 10 years, Viet Nam hardly bought anything because all money are poured into hiring and retaining high caliber engineers, technicians, scientists to do R&D for the military and we have witnesseed the fruit of that labor. No chance of any type of missile, surface combatant, submarine, battle tank, radar to be bought by Viet Nam even dating back a few years ago. Fighter jet is the last straw for any foreign suppliers to have any chance but even the deal with the Russian is being put on hold indefinitely.

From what I understand we seek technology transfer from India as condition if buying Brahmos. However India gov rejects it. So both Vietnam and India bring up Brahmos deal once a while as message towards China and Pakistan. The missile is a bait, a political weapon, not a real one.

Vietnam possesses Yahont, so just buying Brahmos makes no sense. Both missile systems have similar characteristics.

I don't like Russia, but I would give my honest opinion that Russia is better off with a strongman leader.

1. A country with the size of Russia needs to maintain its great power status, otherwise it gonna be disintegrated again.

2. To become a small-mid sized Slavic nation like Poland or Ukraine are not going to guarantee you a good living standard even you got a sugar daddy like the US. The world is entering into a turbulent era, even the US is becoming poorer and needs to suck the blood of its vassals. So Russia becomes a bunch of smaller nations will fare even worse than it is now.

The problem is Russia has oil but no economic basis, that’s too little to earn respect from other. Respect comes from money, industrial power and military might. all former countries in Soviet bloc that joined EU become richer. They fear Russia military might but that’s all. No respect.
That’s something the strongman Putin will never achieve for his own people. Because getting Russia rich is not his goal. The only thing he does is more external threats, more domestic oppression.

Anyway, that’s not your concern. Russia be isolated, poor and desperate is best in China’s interest. You can focus on the US.

Even if Putin is stepping down, he gonna be replaced by another more anti-west hardcore nationalist.
