Our metallurgy technical knowledge has improved tremendously in order to produce that 125 mm smoothbore cannon that can withstand the massive internal chamber PSI. The amazing thing is that we did this without being able to import that famous Austrian GFM machine that the Chinese were able to import. Western countries still put a lot of sanctions on us. Our best wheeled chassis so far is the one for the 122mm gun, we haven't developed a heavy chassis specifically to mount that 125 mm gun yet.

The people running Vietjet seems unfazed by bad rating.
The company has a fleet of 135 aircraft, a backlog of 600 aircraft on order, a mix Boeing and Airbus. If adding the number of Chinese aircraft on order, then Vietjet closes in to a 800 aircraft company.

That reminds me of Vinfast with bad rating. It turns out Vinfast dominates the market by wide margins.

Not just from the West we will never get anything worth in military technology from the East, either.

You can get subs from Germany and aircrafts from France or Sweden if you don't want to get them from Russia or US, but not Japan otherwise China would be upset.
