Vietnam Defense and News forum

The Vietnamese rely on national strength. This kissing other peoples azz like the Koreans or Japanese do is not our nature. But I don’t blame them. If national strength is missing, then swallowing the bitter bill is a good idea to save the nation.

It seems that South Korea and Japan don't have a chance to lose their master's grip by themselves.

And Vietnam has to preserve its political identity which is attached to its national identity.

The S.Korean were just an ISIS terrorist-type arm length of the U.S military during the Vietnam war. Their primary job was to shield their American boss from violating the Geneva convention by conducting terrorist activities like torturing and killing civilians or POWs on behalf of the american. The most ridiculous statement that I have heard from the Korean is that a 50k Korean army would have won the Vietnam war for Amerika; there was no need of 500k American soldiers and 300k ARVN soldiers in this war. They actually think that the U.S dropped the most tonnage of ordnances in this war more than all the wars combined for no reason
What can 50,000 army do? Of course it’s ridiculous. Even if the Koreans are superhuman they should send at least 1 million men. In comparison the US sent 8.7 million men and women to Vietnam, including 2.7 million fighting army. In general I think the Koreans are tough and brutal, not only in movies but in reality. China, Korea and Japan are countries we must be very careful of unlike others.
