no reason to worry. Vietnam is not like Thailand, Pakistan or Indonesia where the army controls the politcs. the army´s role is too keep the country safe, not involve in politics, not involving in infightings between factions. as long as the country is safe then the Vietnamese don´t care if the army does making drones or smartphones.

Where is the proof that Indonesian Armed Force control politics

Unlike Authoritarian rule in Vietnam, Indonesia is a democratic country. It is people choice to elec leader throug election.

Former military leader can be elected if they have already let go their military jobs and become civilians, like SBY or Prabowo (Prabowo is not in military anymore since 1998 and become entrepreneur ever since)

Stop covering it up.
Vietnam is also a Confucian nation, and I don't believe the Vietnamese don't understand the huge drawbacks of the military engaging in business.

It's simply that you can't deprive the military of the right to engage in business, not that you don't want to.

I don’t know why the army enjoys that privilege. might go back to the time when Vietnam under Chinese rule, then even after independence.
the army traditionally was led by the nobles. those upper class enjoyed privileges. you may think the army may topple the civil government like in Thailand but will never happen.

wtf! Don't put the blame on China! The Vietnamese army obtained the right to do business in 1986. Your mess has nothing to do with China!

Kazakhstan Launches Direct Wheat Shipments to Vietnam Without Container Transfers

ALMATY – Kazakhstan has carried out the first direct transportation of wheat to Vietnam without container transshipment, marking a new step in the country’s export logistics.

Between May and September, Kedentransservice JSC, a subsidiary of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, in cooperation with Fort LLP and the shipper NC Food Contract Corporation JSC, organized the shipment of 10 grain trains from the northern regions of Kazakhstan.

The deliveries, totaling 17,000 tons of wheat, traveled from the Ak-Kul, Azat, and Kokshetau stations through China’s port of Lianyungang to Haiphong in Vietnam, reported the Kazakhstan Temir Zholy press service on Sept. 10.

A key feature of the project was the uninterrupted container journey – the wheat was transported in the same container from origin to destination, minimizing handling, preserving product quality, shortening delivery times, and reducing logistics costs.

Industry experts note that the trial demonstrates both the efficiency of existing infrastructure and Kazakhstan’s potential role as a transit and export hub in Eurasia. The model also opens opportunities for agricultural exporters to reach Southeast Asian markets, where demand for grain continues to grow.

Vietnam deploys Open RAN (open radio access) 5G network joint developed and made Viettel and Qualcomm, the first of that kind in the world.
Unlike proprietar 5G network that relies on single vendor like Huawei, Ericsson, etc. Open RAN allows using different vendors, offering more flexibility, more cost effective.
