You are far from a neutral observer and your knowledge about Thailand is limited, from the posts you keep making.
I won’t deny that my view of Vietnam is limited either.
I am based in Thailand for several decades and can say with confidence their economy is not overly reliant on China or the West. Their governance system is not a perfect democracy but it works for them.
As I said they are experiencing stagnant growth for a couple of years due to political instability, high household debt, dated education system.
They are working towards finding a solution to this.
I won’t delve into macroeconomic indicators, but I encourage you to study it and you can conclude that they are pretty solid.
