"Big brother is watching you"

After initial test installation of AI camera in Hanoi to monitor the traffic, the police wants to install AI cameras nationwide. the AI automatically analyze behavior in real-time, identify offenders, and forward case files to the police without human interventions.

Not only traffice violations but crime rate in general would probably reduce to 0 if installing in every corner. more freedom or more safety?

Not everything that makes the headlines tells the full truth. You should have looked deeper into her work, there are parts of it that seem pretty questionable. Anyway, Vietnam has this one woman coincidentally named Hang too. She claimed she spent days and nights building something extraordinary, but what actually came out was nothing like what she said.

Trump’s war secretary Pete Hegseth on Friday suddenly fired Navy chief of staff Jon Harrison. What happened?
It turns out Jon Harrison took internal steps trying to sabotage Trump’s newest pick Hung Cao, a Vietnamese naval officer. That made Hegseth angry.
Hung Cao will take the lead of US naval forces.

Usually, everything about Vietnamese Americans gets reported back in Vietnam, from academics and economics to military affairs. But not a single national outlet has covered this. And yet people still believe Thanh Nien and Tuoi Tre are Western or CIA mouthpieces.

VinFast has presented its first electric bus models for Europe, the EB 8 and EB 12, at Busworld Europe 2025, marking the brand’s entry into the European public transport sector.

Both models draw on VinFast’s operational experience in Vietnam, where over 300 e-buses are in service across five major cities. Production will take place in VinFast’s modern facility in Vietnam, with a capacity of 1,500–2,000 units per year. The EB 12 is available for order now, with commercial operation of both models set to begin in 2026.

Both buses are covered by a 5-year unlimited-mileage warranty for the vehicle and up to 8 yearsfor the high-voltage battery and anti-corrosion protection.

VinFast says it plans to establish a European distribution network in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, and across Central-Eastern Europe and the Baltics.

Equipped with twin 125 kW wheel-hub motors (250 kW total) and a 422 kWh battery, it achieves over 400 km of range (SORT 2) and supports 140 kW fast charging. Passenger capacity reaches 90 people (35 seated, 54 standing, 1 wheelchair space). Features include dual-zone climate control with heat pump, 26 USB ports, full air suspension, and a suite of ADAS systems such as DDAW, Blind Spot Detection, and Intelligent Speed Assistance.

The compact EB 8, measuring 8.6 metres, is tailored for narrower, high-density routes. Powered by a 200 kW central motor and a 359 kWh battery, it offers a claimed range exceeding 290 km (SORT 1 + AC ON) and supports 120 kW fast charging. The bus accommodates up to 60 passengers and includes a wheelchair ramp, single-zone climate control, and comprehensive safety systems (ABS, EBD, BA, HAS) with full air suspension.

Le Thi Thu Thuy, Vice Chairwoman of Vingroup and Chairwoman of VinFast, stated: “VinFast was founded on the mission of democratizing electric mobility. Through our comprehensive product ecosystem, ranging from personal cars to buses, we stand ready to collaborate with individuals, corporate partners, and communities worldwide. SEOUL (Reuters) -Vietnam's top leader To Lam will visit North Korea to participate in the regime's celebration of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Workers' Party, the state media KCNA reported on Monday.

The visit is at invitation of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, KCNA said.

It’s said Kim Jong Un will celebrate the workers’ party day with a biggest military parade ever. Good opportunity to observe North Korea military might at close distance. Maybe we can copy here and there at bit. A dangerous game though we don’t know what the US and the Chinese really have in their minds.
