As per my discussion with Major "Mario Lee" Head of Marketing, the KF21 is being offered to the Royal Saudi Airforce under various options, one of which includes local manufacturing also,
so far the RSAF LtGen Turki bin Bandar and MOD Prince Khalid both have visited the Korean manufacturing plant, so it seems like they are serious in considering the KF21

As of January 2026, the jet has completed the goal of 1,600 sorties- 6 months ahead of schedule
Starting Sept 2026 they begin the deliveries of 120 planes to the Korean AF, so far they have produced 6 technology demonstrators.

Turkey stole the show, they were very well represented in the exhibition along with China and Pakistan. I hope good things come out of this exhibition. Aselsan representative told me that things go very slow with Pakistan and when I went to Pakistani podiums, it showed why.

We have great weapons industry but need to work on marketing and good enthusiasm. GIDS podium was just awesome but an old man sitting in the corner hating his job.

Thanks Malik Abdullah - excellent photo's! appreciate the effort.

Specifications of the Vectis drone

According to the website, the Vectis aircraft is described as a multi-role platform capable of carrying out precision strike missions, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, electronic warfare, and offensive and defensive air confrontation operations.

Its design reflects the focus on survivability, as general drawings show a tailless aircraft with a lambda wing, a dorsal air intake, and an engineering formation aimed at reducing the radar and thermal signature.
The system is linked to joint command and control solutions, including the Multi-Domain Combat System (MDCX), a software-based architecture to support interoperability between platforms and control of drones from the fighter cockpit or remote control centers.
