Western grand strategy in countering Iran's Islamic revolution

Wahabi is a term invented and used by Shia,
it is like pot calling the kettle black.

The moment you deviate from the Book of the lord,
you are lost and will keep running into logical problems that can not be defended.

The Role of Wahhabism and Fabricated Revolutions in Countering the Iranian Revolution

Following the 1979 Iranian Revolution, the global balance of power shifted dramatically. Iran emerged as an independent, anti-imperialist power, presenting a new model of governance in the Islamic world that directly challenged the strategic interests of the West (primarily the U.S. and its allies).

To counter this, the West and its regional allies adopted a dual strategy: 1) Strengthening extremist religious movements (Takfiri/Wahhabi) and 2) Supporting proxy wars to drain the resources of Shiite or anti-Western Sunni leaders/nations.

1. Syria: From Civil Unrest to Takfiri Warfare
Syria stands as one of the most prominent examples of a "manufactured transition."
The Transformation: What began as civil protests in 2011 was rapidly transformed into a war of attrition through logistical, military, and financial support from Western powers and regional actors.
The Role of Wahhabi/Salafi Currents: To counter the "Axis of Resistance" and the government of Bashar al-Assad, extremist Takfiri groups were used as "shock troops" on the battlefield. The goal was to use religious extremism to distract the state from its political and strategic priorities.
Strategic Objective: To weaken Syria as a regional player and sever Iran's strategic corridors leading to the Mediterranean.

2. Promoting Wahhabism as a Tool of "Soft War"
After the Iranian Revolution, Western powers realized they could not easily combat revolutionary Islamic models through purely secular means. Instead, they utilized religious currents to counter "Revolutionary Islam":
Replacing the Narrative: Revolutionary, anti-Western Islamic political models were countered by "traditionalist/statist" Islam (Wahhabism). Wahhabism, with its emphasis on 'Takfir' (declaring others infidels), created an environment where any political movement challenging the existing status quo could be labeled as "apostate."
Financing: Massive amounts of capital from Gulf institutions were funneled into schools and mosques in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Egypt, and parts of Africa to prevent the spread of revolutionary ideologies.

3. The "Takfiri Belt": Saudi Arabia and Pakistan
During and after the Cold War, cooperation between Western powers and countries with Wahhabi ideologies (like Saudi Arabia) and traditional military structures (like Pakistan) created a belt of paramilitary groups.
Afghanistan: The rise of groups that later became Al-Qaeda was the result of projects designed to counter Soviet influence (and later, to control other Islamic movements). These groups consistently utilized Wahhabi ideology to recruit fighters.

Summary: The Western Strategy against Iran
To summarize, the West has used "fabricated revolutions" or "managed upheavals" through the following methodology:
1. Exploiting Sectarian Divides (Fitna): Using religious differences (Sunni-Shiite) to break Islamic unity against foreign intervention.
2. Utilizing Wahhabi/Salafi Currents: These movements serve as ideal "tools" because their extremist nature allows them to dismantle any independent Islamic political structure that refuses to comply with Western interests.
3. Proxy Warfare: Instead of direct confrontation with Iran, the West has triggered chaos in Syria, Iraq, and Yemen to trap Iran in exhausting, costly, and endless conflicts, thereby depleting its economic and military strength.
Wahabissm was first used against the sunni Ottomans, declared them as kafir, mushriks and declared jihad against them, then billions were pumped to fund this khawarij ideology around the sunni world, challenging and destroying/harming states such as Libya, Algeria, Somalia, Indonesia, Iraq, Morocco, Yemen, Syria, Nigeria, Niger, Burkino Faso, Mali, Pakistan etc. You will be surprised to know its not a traditionalist movement but full on moderist reformist movement which collaborates with the western world order. It is a political, religous and financial movement, hates and rejects the historical Islam and wants a new 21st century Islam, so like a western version of Islam. Iran became one of the targets after 1979 revolution. The movement is furture divided in to crazy zombie extremists who wage wars to harm muslim states and once states are destroyed a new modern face is recruited to rule the state. The real sunni Islamic power collapsed with the destruction of the Ottoman and Mughal states.
