We've Been Lied to about America....[World Cup] Foreigners 1st Time to USA

England World Cup fan issues apology to America over stadium judgment: ‘They are simply better than ours’

An England soccer fan at the World Cup has gone viral after admitting that Britons underestimated the scale of America's sports venues.

In a video shared from the stands of the Dallas Stadium at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Oliver Henry said that Brits “owe America an apology” for doubting the size of their sports venues.

“We owe apologies to America because their football stadiums are so much better than ours,” he said in a video taken at the England and Croatia match last Friday. “This is the Dallas Stadium and it’s absolutely incredible. England just beat Croatia, but look at the size of the stadium.”

The AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, is the home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys. It has a retractable roof and can hold about 80,000 people.

Henry wrote in the caption of his post: “We owe America a huge apology about their stadiums, they are simply better than ours [sic]. This was the AT&T stadium in Dallas and it is the best venue I’ve been to. I went to watch Croatia vs England in the fifa World Cup, England beat Croatia 4-2 and the stadium was one of the highlights of the day.”

The tourist continued to be impressed by his trip to Texas, according to an Instagram post he shared days after the match, which started again with “we owe America a huge apology.”

“The people of Texas have been the friendliest and most accommodating people I have ever met,” Henry wrote.

“I came to watch England in the World Cup to play Croatia and that game was at the AT&T stadium in Dallas. We have had the best time for the entire trip. Part of my heart will forever stay in Texas.”

The World Cup has brought numerous heartwarming moments as foreign fans experience the U.S. for the first time.

All of the US venues are outstanding in their own unique way. Other than Gillette, I've been to the others. AT&T and Mercedes-Benz are my favorites. Though I have to admit, the stadium in Monterrey is simply stunning.

Okay ... thanks for sharing your conversations with DeepSeek .. though what does that have to do with what I explained ?

Nothing at all ....

So one of the reasons I’m on this forum was due to an extremely religious Pakistani I used to work with. He told me what his main reason was as to why he moved to the US with his family..which BTW was not listed by DeepSeek.

Now his reason is not something specific to Pakistan it’s just something probably every country has had to deal with at one point or another. So I’m not knocking it specifically.

He said how his fellow man treated his fellow man was intolerable. Surrounded by people who claim they are living a virtuous life but in reality aren’t. He said he couldn’t even get a phone installed without paying somebody extra to make sure his paperwork didn’t get “lost”.

He then said he’d rather be dropped in a society which was wall-to-wall full of non-believers at every turn of his head who didn’t ask for anything “extra”…than a society of wall-to-wall full of believers who constantly did.

I always found his logic an interesting case study. Surrounded by fellow religious people which pained him to see were obviously destined for hell vs a sea of non-believers who were oblivious to their same fate but it didn’t pain him at all since they simply didn’t know any better.

Thousands of World Cup Fans Discover the Real America — And Realize They Were Lied To

This is some real AI slop made by a non-American. Describing fast food as "soul food" ????

Oh you should have posted stuff from the article as it is comedy gold!

The World Cup has triggered one of the most surprising global cultural awakenings in decades and almost no one saw it coming. The establishment media had been running negative propaganda for months, claiming that the event was going to be a disaster because it was being held in the US. The machine had already decided that the World Cup in 2026 was going to be sold as a disaster from start to finish.

Rumors were spinning that because Americans don't care about "soccer" that the tournament would be mismanaged, that America was "racist", the players would be treated poorly, and that the US is such a dangerous place it would deter travelers from going overseas to attend the games.

The anti-American sentiment being generating by western journalists is staggering. However, all it took was a few weeks and around 1.2 million foreign visitors per city coming to see the World Cup at the same time. Suddenly, Europeans have realized they've been lied to about everything.

The US hosted event is now being called one of the most successful in history. The propaganda spell has been broken. Europeans are going on social media to apologize for the hate their countrymen have been dumping on the US over the years. And, most importantly, they've discovered air conditioning.

Strangely, it's not American gun rights that are sparking mass debate. Rather, it's the air conditioning issue that's causing the most friction with political leaders back in Europe, and the elites are not happy.

Americans have trouble understanding the angst. Only 19% of all Europeans have air conditioning in their homes, compared to 90% or people in the US. In Britain, 14% of people have cold indoor air. In France it's 25% and in Germany it's 19%. Keep in mind, these are high rates compared to only 10 years ago. Europe's love affair with air conditioning is a very recent phenomenon; they've been burning up in silence for decades.

But now, travelers visiting America are wondering why a technology created in 1902 is not more common in their home nations? They're starting to ask questions, and they're finding out that their own governments simply don't want them to have it. In other words, air conditioning is a luxury for politicians and the wealthy, not for the peasants. How else can the west save the world from "climate change"?

France has banned drinking alcohol in public to counter dehydration. Residents are stampeding stores and fighting each other for fans and the few air conditioning units they can find. EU leaders are facing increasing demands for a reexamination of "Net Zero" policies.

The French Environment Minister says she is "horrified" by the rising calls for air conditioning, suggesting that the peons need to worry less about the heat and more about global warming, if that makes sense. The debate is being presented as a matter of "selfishness" on the part of common citizens who want to stay cool.

“I’m going to tell you how I see it: I’m horrified by the people who tell me, ‘We just need to put air conditioning everywhere.’ Do you think that’s going to prevent forest fires? Do you think that’s going to stop a crop from disappearing? Do you think that’s going to prevent the death of the animals we’re seeing? Do you think that’s going to prevent anything? Nothing! Of course, people shouldn’t suffocate, but this isn’t adapting to climate change — it’s just an emergency measure.”

In response, governments across Europe are cracking down even more on air conditioning in order to send a message. The EU commission is shutting down air conditioning in their Brussels HQ to set an example, but only for the bottom seven floors where all the lower wage employees work. The top floors where the important people reside still get cool air.

In Britain, local councils are being instructed to force residents to remove air conditioning appliances from their homes or face fines. They assert that the devices create too much "carbon emissions" and should only be used as a last resort. Climate change fanatics are taking to British media to admonish people who dare to purchase one of the evil appliances.

Europe is in the midst of a rare summer heat wave. Over 1300 deaths have so far been linked to the rising temps. The temperatures are climbing to ranges common in the US but shocking by European standards. One would think that this would be a perfect rationale for air conditioning, but globalist leaders in the region are testing the will of the public and seeing how much they can take away.

In reality, the Earth has been much hotter many times over the course of millions of years and it had nothing to do with carbon emissions or air conditioners.

Europe whines over a rare summer heat wave.

Here in AZ-land, we've gone 3+ months with temperatures in excess of 110+F. On a trip back from LAX, which I happened to drive instead of fly, it was 126F when I stopped to hit the restroom. GMAFB already.

People also forget that 2B years ago, confirmed by geologists, the Earth was covered in ice. Got news for the European elites: it wasn't caused by air conditioning or excessive cow farts.

The question is, why are they lying? Europe is a perfect example of green socialism in action, as numerous countries enter steep industrial decline. Climate change is used as an excuse to whittle away individual freedoms, property rights, and access to basic amenities. They are training the population to live without.

Leftist governments also use climate change as an excuse for their mass immigration agenda, claiming that global warming is the cause, rather then the fact that they are luring in migrants with taxpayers funded subsidies and free handouts. In short, the climate lie is about tearing down the western world.

If Europeans stop believing the lie, then the agenda goes out the window. The demand for air conditioning is viewed as a symbol of the citizenry no longer believing.

Again comedy gold from your article

Paris Deputy Mayor Audrey Pulvar, a radical leftist who has in the past defended mass immigration and dismissed the reality of migrant crime, took to social media to attack the US as the "source" of the ongoing French heat wave. She wrote on Instagram:

"Dear American journalists and social media 'influencers': for days, some of you have been criticizing and making fun of Paris because the city does not have A/C in every room. OMG, this is so rich!"

"As the second-largest emitter of greenhouse gas emissions in the world, you bear a significant amount of responsibility for global warming and the consequences we, in France, are experiencing. Your cities '90% air-conditioned' are not unrelated to this. In Paris, we take responsibility."

In reality, the European political class is not angry over American jokes online; they're angry over the legitimate concerns of citizens asking why the government is constantly propagandizing against (and legislating against) central air? French officials don't care what Americans have to say about France, they care about what the French people say about France because it makes the government look bad.

The conflict might sound bizarre to the average American, but many Europeans have been taught to view air conditioning as a bourgeois luxury for selfish people. The fact that Europe suffers more deaths every year from heat than the US has gun related deaths doesn't seem to be a concern for green politicians.
