As I have grown older, I have become less of a meat eater myself. There are some excellent choices and recipes out there that may not totally replace a good steak, but they are nonetheless enjoyable.

I'm a voracious meat eater myself but I appreciate a lot of the veggie goodness that India specializes in, pretty unique in the world.

Baaki places veggies are either served as sides or as an afterthought. Consumed smartly, your body gets all its nutritional needs met.

Very little beats a good daal and roti, fresh of the tandoor.

Singing/dancing is Haram in islam
India encompasses diverse cultures and languages, but Pakistan is often characterized by a singular culture centered around Islamism and a predominant language, Urdu, which is perceived as an Islamic language.

Only very specific pious sects forbid singing etc iinw. The Sufis, in particular, quite famously, get up to all sorts of singing, dancing, poetry..

Well Pakistan was birthed specifically for the Muslims of the subcontinent but they do have diversity in belief (different sects have their own unique ways of practicing their faith)

I've heard Urdu is actually somewhat on the decline there. Punjabi dominates the language landscape (could be wrong).. but that state/province sure dominates (that I'm sure of)

Urdu is an INDIAN language, uska genesis UP me hua, but sadly, also on the decline here. It's a beautiful tongue, rolls nicely off the tongue, very smooth, like French, in a sense.

Wrong on two counts, bhai.

ek, ki, "pagan" doesn't really apply to Dharma aka "Hinduism"

doosra, there are many paths within Dharma itself, including "atheism" and many others.. duality (dvaita), and nonduality (advaita) being the major ones

gets very deep and is honestly beyond me to explain..

jo bhi hai, Abrahamic and Dharmic systems do have certain fundamental differences that separate one from the other.. but you see all sorts of anomalies both sides..

My advise/advice would be to not get too caught up in any of it
