Kind of an out there type of question.

Was wondering how many members with mobile phones use a case or not?

Recently got a pixel 10 and would love to use it caseless, but unfortunately it's almost as slippery as a bar of soap

If you have an expensive phone I'd suggest buying a decent case like an OtterBox or LifeProof.

Heard about OtterBox. Mostly good things, Like some models are built like a tank. O

Only cons are it's a bit on the pricey side and some of them really add to the bulk of the phone. Some people aren't into that.

Only cons are it's a bit on the pricey side and some of them really add to the bulk of the phone. Some people aren't into that.

I can totally understand the dislike some have of slapping on a case that ruins the form factor of a beautiful phone, but it's like an investment in keeping that original device in good working order.

LifeProof are far less bulkier


I prefer OtterBox because it comes with a belt clip and bike attachment and is practically bombproof. I've never needed to replace mine in many years.

If form factor is what concerns you, perhaps a PVC case with a screen protector would be a better option, albeit offering less impact protection or dust/ice/water resistance.

Well I certainly respect your choice. It's just A bit too bulky for me. Cool that it has a clip tho...

My primary case might not be as protective as an OtterBox, but it's protective enough for me.

100%, I mean, a quality case can easily set you back upwards of 60 USD.

Absolutely I've seen some cases go for nearly 100 USD yikes!

To be fair though, some of those cases we're like fashion oriented

I bought a high-end device and thought why should I buy a case. But then I bought it anyway.
I dropped this device several times after that.. glad that I bought the case. Actually a costly one. Initially I thought it a bad choice as it looked very fancy. But when my mobile came out clean after several lethal drops now I am convinced about it's price.

One of drops took place like that: at the mid of night my phone rang. I checked phone. Placed the phone back on table. But where I thought was table, there was no table
