This idiot doesn’t realise how economy works. Firstly all edible oils have increased in price steadily by 5% - under present government there is an increase of between 5/15 rupees per kg to the consumer depending on the type of edible oil - this is due to absurd taxation on the edible oil industry which are due for reforms since 2018. Khawaja doesn’t realise that the edible oil industry rose from generating 5 billion rupees in taxes to 9.1 billion in 2019.

Furthermore the “Ramazan Saver Pack” 😑of Dalda is around 2800 rupees for 5 kg, the next cheapest Retails for 2600. This means that this prerequisite for household cooking is out of reach for most lower income households- who instead rely on ghee and cooling oil which is manufactured locally in the backstreets which the Food Authority of Pakistan has said is both unsuitable for human consumption but may also be extracted from the fats of dead and haram animals:

Secondly a packet of pre made frozen Samosa’s for Pakistan’s favourite brand K&N costs 800 rupees the next cheapest brand is Sufi with a 5% saver discount and 685.

The cost of in demand herbs, roots, vegetables and fruit rose sharply in March ahead of Ramadan:

In Islamabad’s Sunday market, onions are being sold at Rs. 330 per kilogram, potatoes at Rs. 74, tomatoes at Rs. 160, garlic at Rs. 540, ginger at Rs. 680, bitter gourd at Rs. 280, okra at Rs. 320, grapes at Rs. 420, apples at Rs. 340, pomegranates at Rs. 400, mangoes at Rs. 240, and dates at Rs. 600 per kilogram.

In Karachi markets, garlic is being sold at Rs. 1000, ginger at Rs. 600, green chilies at Rs. 500 per kilogram, and chicken meat at Rs. 700.

Additionally, in Quetta, there has been a recorded increase of Rs. 20 per kilogram in the prices of potatoes and onions, with potatoes now at Rs. 70 per kilogram and onions at Rs. 240 per kilogram.

Perhaps if these elite stepped outside their ivory towers and realised what the people of Pakistan were facing, and if they had any humanity - they would do the world a favour and stop breeding.

Bunch of Oxygen thieves.
