Been hearing this ever since I was a kid, swear I can link an article from the 90s saying pretty much the same thing

But the fact is we can never be geopolitically irrelevant
Nor now nor Since the beginning of civilization itself thousands of years ago
this is our curse by default due to geography

It's as serene or as loud a party as you want it to be

UK folk along with the Russians form the bulk of the foreign tourists here. Most menus have a parallel Cyrillic section, which is kind of weird but makes sense.

Lots of charter flights straight from the UK too . Try karo, you might just.. never know.
