Yup.

The reason why you have issues with Afghans more than Iran is that they are Muslim and Sunni. Just as their brothers across the line.

The Iranians are Muslim, but Shia, and have no interest in absorbing more Sunnis.

India is Hindu, and has no interest in absorbing more Muslims.

Blood.

Faith.

Soil.

In the end the basics never change.
