As ole Jerry Garcia mentioned (before an utterly sublime B-major solo)...
The ABC's...we all must face....and try to keep a little grace...
The solo really is a gem ensconced in the middle....B-major combined with Jerry's technique and his very unique heavy hardwood 14 lb "Tiger" guitar:
Rock music really picked up the baton in expanding B major repertoire from its rarity in previous eras.
Unsurprisingly I watched this following video a TON in youtube early years. Words cannot really express how much it helped me out to get better at this solo given both its simplicity yet complexity that needs this methodical slowing down to really grasp.
Crazy to think ~ 16 years means there's probably folks now in this forum that were just being born while I was fooling around with this stuff back then
