This Israeli article is 10 months old. Although there is some propaganda in it as expected, like Iran wanting to destroy Israel or Iran being behind Hamas attack on Israel, in generel it describes Irans situation pretty well.

So it's not like Iran is hesitant to respond only to Israel and the US....Iran is not responding to ANYBODY, no matter how weak its opponent is, and there is a reason for that.

Why we don't consider that these proxies of Iran are just not that capable? That they are already doing the best they can? Direct retaliation from Iran is rare.

This is the main point of the article. Iran has the capability to retaliate, but it will simply not do it.
Iran will absorb all blows, no matter how many and how humiliating, because it has a long term goal.
The only scenario where Iran would use its capabilities and retaliate is in the event of a major war against it like when Saddam attacked.

So don't expect Iran to do something in the current situation, you are wasting your time. Not because Iran is weak, but because it has a long term goal, and it won't get distracted from it, end of discussion.

Unfortunate reality is Hizbullah, Hamas, Ansarullah are militias, and SAA is army but all are not capable military wise to defend against Israel with cutting edge technologies. They are doing their best though which is plausable.

If Israel/Usa attacks Iran using 300 F35s, they will bomb Tehren etc, no doubt about it. Iran in return may shoot some planes down but the strike will be devastating. However Iran possess a huge missile arsenal and they have the capability to strike Usa bases in middleeast and attack Israel.

I am not a military expert but to me the key missing piece is air defence. The Zionist entity can bomb Gaza, Lebanon and even Syria with their S-300 at will.

They also fired missile/s at Iran.

Things will keep getting worse. At some point the proxies will fall away, and direct engagement with Iran will be had.

By the way, Irans main concern right now is not war....it is for the BRICS to introduce their alternative finance-system to the dollar-based Swift-system in the near future. This would (although not entirely) neutralise the sanctions imposed on Iran and the Iranian economy could grow drastically....and this would finally help Irans nuclear goals.
Israel and the US know Irans Leaders are waiting for the BRICS-system, and that is also the reason for their current escalation, ideally to drag Iran into a regional war that could threaten Irans economic and nuclear goals, and if that's not possible, than at least weaken Irans regional partners.

But Irans leaders won't fall for the trap, they won't act out of emotions, they won't heed the advice of random guys on an Internet-forum....they have their long term goal and they will stick by it, no matter what.

And two weeks from now the emotions will cool down anyway and the world will go on....
