I think she has a point.
The amount of shit coming into a country thats already saturated with crap, problem with housing and healthcare - need to get their house in order and if it means temporarily closing the immigrants down - so be it. Have to say the massive amount of Indians in the last 3 years of Indians with abusing work visas has demolished the British mindsets.

Honestly, I applaud her common sense approach. That a policy "aligns" or "does not align" with Farage's world view is not relevant here. Policy ought to be judged on merit.
We are too saturated with people and our services and infra are overstretched. Income tax and NI have become a blunt tool that hammers those who work hardest (whether in private or public sectors) to subsidise those who work least, and that is not sustainable.
Why are doctors trained here not even getting junior doctor jobs when they leave med school? Why are agency binmen now also striking within a month of taking over from the already striking contracted binmen, despite being paid at a premium? Why the constant gridlock and roadworks in all our metropolitan areas?
Immigration needs to be brought down to a trickle so our public services can be repaired to something functional.

And you're right! It was the Tories under the scam queen herself, Priti Patel, who fast-tracked countless Indians on student visas at the behest of whatever communal ideologies were directing their thoughts 8-10 years ago. Now they're overstaying, fully vertically and horizontally integrated into the fast food sector, from kitchen staff to moped wallas. (Edit: AND thanks to Starmer's "trade capitulation", Indian migrants are avoiding those extortionate NI payments for 3 years that the rest of us pay!).

Mr Starmer is in a real pickle. His support in the Party is slipping due to fears of Reform. Shabana Mahmood's tougher measures against immigrants and asylum seekers may be welcomed, but wont necessarily strengthen the UK PM politically.

I was at a desert establishment a few months ago with my kids.
As soon as we placed our order the place got raided by 15-20 immigration enforcement officers.
We were sat near the entrance so my kids saw it all. At the centre of it was a small, young south Indian girl who was the manager. The owners are Pakistanis.
She was man handled by the officers and started pleading with them, and eventually started crying. It turns out she was here on a student visa (another worker told me).
So yes, Indians are also taking the piss. The owners are wealthy enough to pay the 20k fine.

The Brits are taking maximum advantage of it's large non-white labor force (both knowledge-based and trades) to continue to remain a global economic powerhouse while not adequately acknowledging their role and are constantly demonizing and dehumanizing them..

Today in U.K.. The right thank God cant bond. , dependent on their actual aim of course. There’s so many right wing parties , arguments and splits, allegations and mud throwing. If they were to unify and get a charismatic leadership and get a foot in the door then we have got problems big time then they will sway to the real right

Jealousy of other immigrant groups is nothing new, but I believe there's more to it this time around.
This:

And here lies the problem: what is it to be British, if there's even such a thing? If you want to maintain your race (we are, in fact, the same race), religion, culture, heritage, and language, then you should've lived in your native lands. Why travel to the West, live in an enclave, keep to yourselves, not assimilate, and try to impose your values on the English?
