Unfortunately too many uk Pakistanis claim arabs are our fellow "Muslim brothers" but this feeling is hardly ever reciprocated by arabs. I don't know. As I'm getting older, I want to be closer to our own community and avoid other races as much as possible even if they are Muslim. I feel I'm becoming more racist as time goes on.

What makes me EXTREMELY angry is that ALL other races and communities on this planet including other Muslim groups are ALL allowed to be proud of their race and bloodlines but us Pakistanis are not. Never been to dubai, qatar, kuwait, oman or any other gulfi nation and I never will. NOTHING beats Kotli or the cuisine of Mirpur, the best food on the planet by a long shot.

Pakistanis are not one homogenous group dear brother: how a Pakistani from KPK will deal with a threat be different from a Pakistani say Karachi. Take these 2 Mirpuri lads no messing round straight in there with headbutts fists flying everywhere. Another Pakistani ethnic group would have kept quite walked away. I’m a traditionalist Pakistani brother. I wear my Shalwaz kameez with pride one with collars on i wear blue/ grey colours I hate collarless types loses it authenticity design. And in winte, I wrap a big Chador around me going to masjid on winter cold days. I do stare at Pakistanis at Masjid ( I’m bad) who are wearing Arabic garb on I do tutter under my breath why? .A Shalwar Kameez in its traditional design a dark colour material is a real man look with a topi slashed to one side of your head.
