The scenario of operators just making errors and targeting own F18 (two times) is very unlikely.
So we must think in more likely alternative scenarios that could make such stupid errors several times.
F18s must have some system of automatic self identification to near friend vessels, right?
That system must work over RF spectrum, that can be under jamming attack.
So maybe USA or Houthi were blocking that frequency in that moment, and that made a more likely confusion in operators.
