Yemen Civil War News and Discussion.. an evolving situation

I appreciate your honesty is describing how Iran is pursuing its interests as a sovereign nation. In my view, it also has the necessary wisdom and maturity to know that others will do the same. All of the steps above will likely elicit suitable counter efforts too.
glad to see you back so soon

of course, every state will pursue its own interests. opposing American hegemony is very costly and this must be factored into the decision making process

Of course. I am glad we can agree on that.

Pahlavis sold Bahrain and Ararat. Stop joking
Bahrain was not part of Iran for the Shah to sell it. Khalifa clan took control of Bahrain in 1860s and became a UK protectorate, the independence was from the UK not from Iran

The Shah only accepted a UN-forced referendum and ended our claims to Bahrain after the result, but the status quo ante bellem/referendum in 1970 was not that Bahrain was part of Iran, only historical claims that could not be enforced

Now kindly stay on topic

Link to latest development of this from an International perspective:

It would appear that the vast amount of attacks against sea fearing vessels have taken place in this highlighted area here: These have included 1 Boarding, 21 suspicious approaches.

It's funny how KSA seems to be more concerned about USA airstrkes in Yemen than Iran.

KSA reaction:

Iran reaction:

I guess KSA untrust more about USA real intentions than Iran.

To the contrary its all for optics.

The axis of resistance should be using similar strategies and tactics. So knowing they won't be able to defend their sky's I wonder if weapon stocks and production facilities are deep under ground. They would be use to beimg bombed by the Saudi alliance so this would have made them better at dealing with air attacks.

We will find out soon, whether the airstrikes did anything or were just a political ploy.

Also the fact the US and its coalition has killed 15 Yemenis and the Yemenis none doesn't help the US narrative of trying to save lives as clearly they are taking them.

Is there any solid plan to counter Houthis or just a simple drama for PR.
If this is just a simple drama, only common civilians are going to be butchered
Of course, Houthis ( and their sponsors) and US alliance don't give a flying f#ck to common people lives in Yemen.

USA only dare to launch the attack when the aircraft carrier USS Ike arrived to Red Sea.

So they must be afraid of Houthis in some way.

Well this is some next level sh#t you just wrote.

It's just facts.

They stopped Houthi missile and drones attacks before from their warships.

But they only attacked Houthi land after USS Ike arrived Red Sea (starting 2024).

No matter if a USA warship is more advanced than Houthi weapons.

It's just a matter of physical space, the amount of physical space for weapons in a warship is limited, the space to store missiles and drones in Yemen land is "unlimited" (much more greater than a warship).

I will only give you a hint to course correct yourself.
Yemen may have unlimited weapons stored. But to hit war ships, you need functional ISR system (long range Radars, etc.)
US Air Force can easily suppress these ISR assets.
Now Houthis are blinded. They cannot see those warships.

Amid the worsening situation with the Houthis in Yemen, British Typhoon fighters attacked two Yemeni Houthi targets in Bani and Abbs with Paveway IV guided bombs. The Paveway IV guided bomb with a modified laser and GPS guidance system has been produced by the American-British company Raytheon since 2008. The pilot of the aircraft can pre-program the operating mode of the bomb fuse. There are three modes in total: air detonation of a bomb over the target, detonation after hitting the target with a time delay, and detonation after hitting the target. The weight of the Paveway-IV bomb is 225 kilograms. The bomb is used by England, the USA, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
