Lets be open minded, honest and realistic - These US B-2 bombers based at Diego Garcia base are quite vulnerable to Iranian drones and cruise missiles (maybe, not sure Iran has ones that cover the distance to Diego Garcia).

We know that from Ukraine, US air defence systems, including the Patriot system dont have a great record against drones like Shaheds,so Iran could probably damage some of those bombers while they are at Diego Garcia, i would not exclude that option, Iran must've prepared for that contingency.

If any of those B-2s crash over Iran, the US will probably not fly them for real war missions again.

The B-2 bombers are for dropping napalm and bombs on farmers and goat herders without any real military capacity. Going up against a modern military they will take off but never land.

The Americans have never fought a war against an enemy that could hit back. Once their enemy starts hitting back, they will ask for truce or hey will run away, it is in their history because it is in their DNA, just wait and see.

US use of napalm ended after the Vietnam War. On-hand inventories were destroyed with final destruction completed in 2001.

Would love to see your evidence of the US having never fought a war against someone who could hit back. Japan and Germany would disagree with you. The US never lost a single ground battle in Vietnam. Operation Desert Shield / Storm --- the vaunted and feared Iraqi Army, at that time the 4th largest in the world, folded like a pair of cheap Ho Chi Minh pajamas.
