You omit to mention this government had exceeded its 2 year mandate (after only allowing one candidate to stand for office in the first place in 2012) and refused to hold new elections then resigned after the legitimate national uprisingHouthi toppled internationally recognized government in Yemen in 2015.
Fair point. Yemen is a backward country and not exactly known for producing quality leaders. But the toppled government had international recognition and did not partake in useless conflicts. It had a foreign policy. Houthi are a disaster. You omit to mention this government had exceeded its 2 year mandate and refused to hold new elections then resigned after the legitimate national uprising
Conflicts are not new to Yemen, there are many deep rooted divisions and lack of strong centralised leadership. Currently we see a de facto division of Yemen into 2 states (Ansarallah in the North/West, STC/South Yemen in the South/West) with much of East Yemen being sparsely populated and rife with terrorist groups, the toppled/ex-government has been reduced to almost irrelevance now. Perhaps the 1990 unification of Yemen was a mistake, but sanctions, blockades and bombs are not likely to help either.Fair point. I have been very friendly and engaging. You have resorted to ad hominems while addressing me. This is not how a debate works. You want to have a debate? First step is respect facts and evidence. Second step is to not tell others what to post and what not to post. I am on topic and have expanded on Houthi politics and lack of foreign policy. I do not troll like the usual suspects here. The problem is on your end, not mine.why do you keep deleting my posts
are you too afraid to engage openly ?
I think the history of the Houthi's is allot more complicated than that. They have for over 1000 years been contesting the land in and around Yemen. The world recognised their government in the early 20th century, but the Egyptians toppled their king and installed a puppet. At one point the Saudi's and Israeli's were backing them against Egypt. Saleh wasn't a good leader, he mis-ruled Yemen for over 30 years, eventually he was going to be toppled because people wanted better. Now it remains to be seen if they get better or worse. Yemen has been used and abused by the surrounding countries, the so-called muslim brothers and Israel. Its people have suffered tremendously including the Houthis who now rule most of Yemen.Houthi toppled internationally recognized government in Yemen in 2015. Former Yemeni leaders requested Saudi assistance to prevent Houthi expansion. Houthi are up to no good unfortunately. They have divided the country internally and are now attacking commercial ships passing through the Red Sea. Israel is just an excuse. This is a classic case of power hungry people who use religion for politics, corruption, and mischief.

This is your political view and it is not conducive for debate. Tell me which side is absolutely truthful? No side is absolutely truthful. All partake in propaganda and lying is second nature to many in Asian countries. The links that I have shared contain photos of intercepts. Focus on them.your facts are not facts
CNN is pro-zionst
and above all Kyiv post is pro-zionist
and even worse you quoted Lyle Goldstien another Zionist entity
I dont even debate these "facts" they are not facts
if you want to talk seriously you need to bring more credibility than republishing Zionist propaganda
Any widening of the conflict would be a tragic mistake.Getting a lot of info on the web that a war with Yemen and Iran is now inevitable.
