Houthis are an Iranian proxy. This is Iran beating the crap out of Saudia for whatever reason.

Although it may look like the US has ditched Saudi after receiving assurances from Houthis regarding shipping, this could be an attempt to bring in Israel into helping the desperate Saudis, with the US quietly supporting it all via CENTCOM. The Houthis are currently blocking Israeli and Saudi ships.

Alternatively the US wants a diplomatic solution in Yemen and that's why it has told Saudi its on its own.

You expect ballistic missiles to be sent out like tandoori naans? Arabs like those tandoori naans they stop them midway . Best solution was then to pound the arabs who were stopping naans from reaching the dastarkwhan . Don't know what part of this PDF doesn't understand. Oh bhai beech me jaga jaga interceptor hain on arab lands. Any ballistics meant for Israel are intercepted. Trajectories are calculated easily by satellites and radars. The only way was to pound the data links and radar sites, but Irans capability to launch got degraded as well by USA hitting them in different places. Tell me you missed all those hits that Iran did that took out radars everywhere. Even then the US has other capabilities for launch detection and ballistic trajectory mapping.
