Yemen Civil War News and Discussion.. an evolving situation

In fact, Saudi Arabia could emulate France.

Establish a foreign legion in Saudi Arabia. Recruit foreign non-active-duty personnel with high salaries, offering Saudi citizenship after a certain period of service. (This would be a non-official initiative—involving voluntary enlistment by foreign citizens—that requires no coordination with the militaries or governments of other nations.)

I believe many people would be very willing to join.
That already happened before. ( recruiting sudanese-Rapid forces) in the previous Houthi-GCC war and failed misreably , the sudanese were being hunted like birds.

they have tried, everything they could find!

This is an issue regarding their management approach.

Take the French Foreign Legion, for instance—it is worth looking into. In fact, many countries, including the United States, use incentives such as citizenship or permanent residency to attract foreign nationals to military service. The difference is that they typically integrate these individuals into mixed units, whereas the French Foreign Legion operates as a distinct, independent force.

For countries facing a shortage of citizens serving in the military, this strategy is highly effective. However, it requires appropriate management methods and measures; money alone cannot solve the problem.

From my own anecdotal observation the Saudis seem to lack military organisation and leadership, what I mean is competent battle hardened generals. Maybe I am wrong, but that is why a foreign legion will struggle. It needs competent experienced leaders.

Yes, I agree with your point. There are indeed serious issues within Saudi Arabia's military leadership.

But, you can also seek external assistance in this regard. Of course, that presupposes that you are willing to do so.

you are right, one could read this whole enterprise in such a way!

I would ask an even a bigger question.

how is that possible than person is wealthy and also incompetent?

or

competent leadership is not needed by the masters they serve?

one can try to fix these issues, of course, only problem is, masters will remain the same

This guy is a supplements peddler while pretending to be a geopolitical analyst. Please don't link any of his videos again.

in your eyes, from a westerner perspective, he is respectable.

but, we can tell, if he is telling the truth or not

here he is only telling truth to taunt saudis to squeeze more money

he has told them, they have this and this issue, in reality, they have as many issues as CIA or any other of there masters want them to have!
