Yemen Civil War News and Discussion.. an evolving situation

There will be a regime change in ksa within 24 hours if the money stopped flowing to D.C
Yes, Trump did the same to Iran back then, and we saw how it ended. If the Saudi prince can't even hold onto his throne, the country should have changed leadership long ago. And I happen to be very optimistic about this ambitious prince.
What I want to say is that the United States today is too weak. And Saudi Arabia is not Venezuela.

An old recording said to be of the Houthi leader, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, reciting the Torah and wearing rabbinic clothes.

My dear so called great moderator!

, you could not even see through the truth behind a short little video, do you make the decisions of your own life with the same unquestioning ease, believing one man because he tells you this, another because he says that, and accepting every tale of theft, deceit and robbery placed before you?

For if you can murder the truth so effortlessly here, one can scarcely imagine what else you might be persuaded to do, or whose hands you might ultimately allow yourself to become an instrument of.

what an amazing person you are!

salute!

There is a dispute inside the saudi family .. I won't be surprised if a coup happens.

Small spoiler.

If the Saudis are losing ( They are targeting Mecca , where are the muslims ahhhhh).

This script sounds familiar.

Once the cursed houthis collapse the amount of tears here will be joyful
Bro, you will be surprised how many Iran-lickers are active here. These ungrateful dudes are more faithful to the Ibleesi Iranian mullahs than their own motherland. Anyhow, it's not surprising how much these dudes hate Mecca and Madina. That comes down from its epi centers in Iran.
For a true Muslim, the safety and sanctity of the two Harmain Shrifain are above any and every thing.
As for the Houthis, I am sure they will melt like ice melts when the time comes and none of their supporters will be able to save them from a thorough defeat and utter humiliation. And I believe that time is not that far either.

And when, might I ask, has such hollywood recklessness ever actually worked?

The last time some ill equipped and unprepared militia decided to take on a regional power was October 2023. Even with all the good will in the world from sympathisers and neutrals, they failed to materialise any single tactical or strategic outcome of value. Some would say they were baited into a trap, by virtue of their own arrogance.

And that is the reason why we are all here pontificating about the events they put into motion.

It seems to me that turning this conflict into another desperate, irregular, asymmetric war will: (a) not end well for the Houthis, and (b) will do NOTHING for the Palestinians (which is sadly becoming a recurring theme).

Perhaps this mess can still be contained within Yemen but that is looking inreasingly doubtful.
You assume houthis care. The "resistance" have been using sunni cities as Cannon fodder for their wars of geopolitical expansion. Whether it was Syria Iraq Gaza or even in Yemen where the Frontline is mostly in sunni lands.

Asymmetric warfare in someone else's population center doesn't cost much.
