Myannmar has been split up more then the balkans and Balkanized more then the balkans... Myanmar Gov´t is just a fiefdom at this point out of 12-16 other fiefdoms. Myanmar got destroyed from the inside. What happened to Myanmar is a mystery and has nothing to do with the very small tiny rohinga community. But there are some inner forces that has destroyed themselves.
I recall Syria was once split into 3 parts for a long period for maybe like 15 years but Myanmmar takes the cake it actully doesn´t even mirror like civil war but rather Balkans where every ethnic group wants their own thing. Mynamar itself is dead. The has now lasted for 5 years which means it is relatively young but once it matures and reaches 10 to 15 years things will become more clear that the only solution is balkanization.
This is the currently Myanmar map.
1. The Military Regime (The Junta)

- Entity: The National Unity Government (NUG) and its armed wing, the People’s Defence Forces (PDF).
- Territorial Hold: The NUG operates as a shadow government. Localized PDF units hold or maintain active administrative zones across several rural townships, particularly in the Sagaing and Magway regions.
3. Major Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs)
The remaining territory—particularly the vast borderlands—is divided among autonomous ethnic armies. The primary entities holding and administering distinct territories include:

Summary Dynamics
In total, there are at least 12 to 16 distinct administrative entities currently exercising physical, governance, or military control over specific regions of Myanmar. Because frontlines change and smaller local defense militias form independent alliances, the exact map of territorial control remains fluid.
