Yemen Civil War News and Discussion.. an evolving situation

Al Arabiya correspondent Hael Saeed:

The banners of the Southern Giants Forces control the Haakama Heights in the Assault and Fog front in Hayfan.. and cut off the Houthis' supply lines towards southern Taiz region countryside..

Saudi ground forces are not in this war and have never been. They will probably come in from the north once all the fronts erupt and sanaa is encircled or taken. To disrupt Houthi formations and probably enter their heartlands in Saada etc etc which will be a massive moral blow to the houthis.

This will be like the classical flanking attack from behind while you do not expect it at all

Egypt exchequer has lost hundred of millions pounds in transit fees because of Houthis disrupting their trade in Red Sea. Egyptians powerful military could have easily landed a force behind the Houthis lines on the cost seizing it. Pushing them out. And the Saudis impressive airforce did the bombing on Houthis retreating from there. Im surprised Egypt has not joined in.

Egypt is not needed..

This is 1v1 fight. The Giants, Sahiba tribes and the Islah and the other tribes plus the maribbians will win this war against the houthis hence Egypt is not needed to deploy.

The Saudis will not enter this conflict until the houthis are on their last legs. If the houthis lose Sanaa and pushed back from other areas then the Saudis could stab them in the back and push in a large force from the north to take Saada and other houthi native lands and they won´t be able to defend themselves against the saudis at that point as they will burn out in the current war of attrition ongoing.

This is like Muhammad Ali´s robe-a-dope the houthis will punch themselves out very soon if the pressure is sustained and kept consistent

Don't understand why you are so sure it's going to be one on one fight ...all the the indicators say otherwise.... it's going to be a massive ground assault of a coalition that will have members besides MDA......by the end of November Yemeni mission is expected to reach conclusion and after that Iran will get all the love she needs.... let's hope Iran realises what's can happen to her.

Ma’rab..
The two field commanders in the Houthi group, Hassan Rajih Shamsan, the fortifications officer on the eastern Balq front, and Ismail Ibrahim Saleh, the supplies officer on the Al-Akd front, announce their defection from the group's forces and their joining the "national ranks" in Ma'rib Governorate.

Did the Houthis attack/provoke MBS in 2015, prior to him getting involved in Yemen, reportedly against strong objections from other parts of the Royal Family?

MBS is in the Epstein files - its not a wonder his brutality in Yemen is only exceeded by brutality of the Israelis in Gaza and Lebanon. I would argue that MBS entered the conflict in Yemen at the behest of the Israelis, and the Israelis/US then helped ensure his rise to power, despite not being next in line.
so not a big fan bringing up Epstein but anyone who had any contact with him in the past is tainted in my eyes

Yemeni News Correspondent:
- The intensity of Operation Dawn of Yemen varies on its third day in Taiz- Fierce clashes between Yemeni forces and Houthi militias on the fronts of Al-Waz'iya, Yafres, and Al-Kadha, amid slow advances by the forces due to the mountainous terrain
- Army forces in Bab al-Mandab, Dhu Bab, and the outskirts of Al-Makha consolidate their positions and conduct combing operations to clear mines and earthen barriers in preparation for the second phase
- Army forces continue their advance in Al-Jawf Governorate and their siege on the Al-Labanat camp..

Urgent,

STC member who is residing in Ritz Carlton Riyadh had the urgent sense to leave behind some bio-mass and decided to place a tweet during the same process, so that the STC forces win the heights on X.

Houthis began this war on the yemeni ppl, recognized gov´t and instituitions. The houthis are some rural areas militias who brought destruction on yemen and themselves.

This is a self-inflicted war. MBS gave aid to yemen when they called.. This is entirely on the houthis.

who gave them the right to storm the yemeni ppl and start a war on them?
They have also attacked Saudi Arabia and killed Saudi border guards..
