On the glorious occasion of October 14, the Armed Forces continue to embody the meanings of liberation and sovereignty through field action within Operation "Yemen Dawn"; as its units have developed their offensive operations across various fronts and combat axes, and executed (2309) precise and direct targeting operations, using combat aviation, drone aviation, field artillery, rocket launchers, and sniper units.
The fire effort has contributed to dismantling enemy defensive structures, silencing fire sources, paralyzing command and control centers, isolating forward positions, striking concentrations and reserves, and supply routes, while preparing the conditions for breaching fortifications, expanding the scope of penetration, and advancing.
Field assessments indicate the neutralization of approximately (1250) elements from the terrorist Houthi militia, and the destruction or disabling of more than (460) military vehicles, and means.
In Taiz, concentrated airstrikes and tightly coordinated ambushes continue to crush the militia's convoys and reinforcements, drain its capabilities, and thwart its attempts to compensate for losses and reorganize its forces.
In light of these ongoing losses, the Armed Forces urge our people in areas under militia control to protect their sons from recruitment campaigns and thrusting them into its battles, and to stay away from military positions, gatherings, and engagement zones. It also affirms that the door to safe return and the announced pardon from His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, remains open to all who lay down their arms, cease fighting, and return to their families and homeland. In contrast to our forces' commitment to the rules of international humanitarian law and limiting operations to legitimate military targets, the terrorist Houthi militia continues to target civilian structures and residential neighborhoods in Taiz, in conduct that embodies its disregard for civilian lives, indifference to international laws and norms, and attempt to transfer the repercussions of its military losses to citizens and their homes.
