Pray tell how is that any different from West imposing economic sanctions on countries and preventing third parties from trading with these sanctioned countries. Houthis are doing the same preventing ships/sailors from third party countries from trading with Israelis/West.Following link:

IHL and Islam: An overview - Humanitarian Law & Policy Blog
With armed conflicts taking place in so many parts of the Muslim world, the Islamic law of war is as indispensable as ever for the protection of civilians and other persons hors de combat. Over the centuries, classical Muslim jurists have provided impressive legal literature, which, just as...blogs.icrc.org
Read and try to understand.
Those commercial ships are not manned by Israeli troops or enemy combatants but carry goods for different countries. Understand the difference.
Twisting religion is not my forte but yours. You have very conveniently boasted that Islam permits haram in times of war based on twisted interpretations of some scholars. This is a fasadi thought process. Keep it up though as this strategy will not be fruitful.
Israeli economy is not affected as it receives aid from the US to meet its needs. Israeli operation on Palestinian lands continue unabated. You will see the outcome eventually.
Of-course, your lack of comprehension of CEC is noted. You refuse to study and understand provided literature. Best of luck with your imaginary defeats of the US Navy in battles.
you call a 5X increase in shipping container prices and insurance a "little nuisance value"??? wow.
The U.S. foolishly entered this conflict for the sake of Israel, facing a geographical disadvantage similar to that in Afghanistan.
Yeah and this is a bitter pill to swallow for some who are clearly in denial and the 80s...This is called tricking the enemy into using their strength against themselves.
The Houthis laid a trap for the American coalition and they huffed and puffed their way right into. The whole game here is not to sink USN ships but to make selected shipping expensive or untenable through the region.
Every single day that insurance companies treat this as a conflict zone is a win for the Houthis and a public humiliation to American might.
I am presuming that both Iran and the Houthis have already taken this contingency into account and have mobile radar systems that can replace the fixed ones that have been hit by the criminal state of US. They will still have all assets available to carry on these attacks designed to damage the Zionist trade.
Or they gave the US their blessings but didn't want to be seen too involved, despite allowing the yank and brit jets to use Arab airspace for the attack.Dont miss one important thing in this movie:
Egypt and KSA didnt join USA coalition in Red Sea.
Why?
Because USA can't be trusted, and USA real intentions are twisted.

Haven’t we seen this movie off the coast of Somalia a few years ago? How did that end? A similar fizzling out of this situation is only a matter of a few months perhaps.
Now I know you will say that all this will subside but that misses the point. Everything eventually ends, even WW2 eventually ended. The point is to keep up the pressure for as long as possible.
So far the Houthis are winning and the US is losing.
I already anticipated this response from you and addressed it preremptively in an earlier post:
So far Houthis are winning? Oh good. Let us see the next innings. It will be good to watch I think.![]()
