Resisting what? Yemen is thousands of kilometers from Israel.

well Israel and Yemen both said it but I guess if you want to deny well established facts to further your anti-resistance agenda that's your prerogative

The defence minister, Yoav Gallant, vowed to “settle the score”, Israeli army radio reported. His remarks followed a meeting with top military and intelligence officials to assess the strike.

The military identified the drone as an Iranian Samad-3, upgraded to travel long distances, and said it was believed to have come from Yemen.

The Houthis claimed responsibility, saying their “UAV [unmanned aerial vehicle] force” attacked “one of the important targets in the occupied Jaffa region, what is now called Israeli Tel Aviv”.

A Houthi drone launched from Yemen that exploded in Tel Aviv early Friday was tracked by the Israeli Air Force for at least six minutes before the attack that killed an Israeli man and wounded others, according to an initial probe carried out by the military.

The Israel Defense Forces said the unnamed aerial vehicle had been identified, but human error led to it not being engaged by air defenses. As no action was taken against the identified target — later confirmed to be a large long-range attack drone — no warning sirens had sounded.

The drone, identified by the IDF as an Iranian-made Samad-3 that had been modified to have an extended range, had flown for more than 10 hours to reach Israel.

According to military assessments, the drone did not follow a direct route to Israel from Yemen. The drone traversed Egypt and flew into Tel Aviv from the direction of the Mediterranean Sea at a low altitude, making a trip of over 2,000 (1,200 miles) kilometers to reach Israel.
So you are posting the same news, just a different UK media outlet. Yet to see any concrete evidence of it being the Houthis. Only Houthi claims as I wrote. Of which there have been numerous false ones for years.

It is much more likely for it to have been Hezbollah or even some Iraqi militias. That drone would have had to travel 2000 km without any detection? Seems very unlikely.

Which drone was it exactly and which Houthi drone has a 2000 km + range?

Even, if we assume that this was the Houthis (highly doubtful), 14 months of Houthi attacks can be reduced to 1 civilian Israeli casualty? That is pathetic. Let us be honest.

American talking about interfering in conflicts 'thousands of kilometers' away

irony died

I think that the guy you are quoting is an Iranian based in the US.

Houthi terrorist cult (part of the axis of losers, cults, failed and impoverished entities) winning for all to see.

Soon their cultish leadership will be eliminated one by one.

You love to see it.

We will see some marches (forced), useless shouting and that will be it.

Can you explain the strategic (or tactical) thinking behind Iran sending missiles to Yemen when they are more than 2000 KM from Israel and the Houthis are using the missiles to attack commercial shipping of unrelated countries? I can only imagine it generate less goodwill in the international community towards whoever it was supposed to help. Cost benefit ratio in terms of damage caused to Israel seems minimal while Houthis have now essentially 'suicided' Yemen. This almost fits the pattern of Hamas killing a bunch of Israeli concert goers and 'suiciding' Gaza. At least Gaza was subject to harassment by Israel while Yemen and Houthis are unrelated to Israel's politics.

What does it matter if it's Iraqi, Hezbollah, Yemen or Palestinian drone? they have same goal: resisting Israeli occupation.

can you read? the second source was the Times of Israel

the honourable thing to do in this scenario is admit you were wrong
So now Israeli media has become the Gospel? The same Israeli media that only writes what favors Israel and their agenda? The same media that for the past 20 years has said that Iran is a few days away from developing nukes? The same media that has been deliberately overrating the abilities of its enemies to garner support from the world and West?

Once again, there is zero evidence of the Houthis being behind that drone that supposedly flew for 2000 + km and was not detected.

Which Houthi drone has a range of 2000 + km to begin with?

Also even, for the third time, we assume that this was a Houthi drone, 1 Israeli civilian casualty in 14 months is a success after claiming 100's of attacks on Israel if not more?

That is absolutely pathetic.

So now Israeli media has become the Gospel?
first you complain only Yemenis claimed it, then you claim UK media doesn't count and now Israeli media doesn't count either

hilarious

you are incredibly ignorant of Yemen's military capabilities and recent events. They launch modified Samad-3 UAVs at Israel almost every day, one was intercepted off the shore of Tel Aviv yesterday

What does it matter if it's Iraqi, Hezbollah, Yemen or Palestinian drone? they have same goal: resisting Israeli occupation.
The talk is specifically about Houthis and what their supposed 1000's of attacks on Israel, commercial ships etc. have done of damage. So far the only thing the Houthi supporters here have been able to show is 1 civilian Israel casualty in July 2024 after 14 months? That is if we presume the Houthi claim (doubtful) is even correct and we presume that Houthis indeed launched a drone from 2000 + km away that was magically undetected.

Nobody has explained or shown any evidence of there even being such a drone with such a range in the first place.

The resistance (axis of failure as I prefer to call it) has utterly failed and only contributed to more deaths and destruction as evident of events in Northern Yemen in the past 24 hours. With likely much more to come.

Has it stopped Israel even for 1 hour or 1 day? No, it has probably only emboldened them. That and tied US directly to a conflict (Yemen) that they otherwise have tried to avoid. Previously they only used to attack AQAP elements in Yemen. They never attacked Houthis once. Now this has changed.

All I see is a strategy of failure that is being propagandized 24/7 with little or nothing to show for.

And this is from people/movements that claim to be able to defeat Israel and boast about it all the time.

Rest of us in the region don't make such empty claims.
