Yemen Civil War News and Discussion.. an evolving situation

they did attack the truman hours before they announced the f/a-18 loss so i'm assuming that had something to do with it even if indirectly like how the attack last time caused the friendly fire incident

Houthis attacks have failed for the last year and a half.

I'm a little skeptical. Under tow, in the hangar bay? I've been around plenty of aircraft under tow. Never once saw the ground handlers lose control.
first they shot an F-18 now they pushed it off the carrier

can't wait to see what they do next

So you just lost two F18s, because your idiots?

What other nation can conduct operations at this scale and pace on the other side of the planet? Once you understand how difficult it is to do what the USN is doing, then you can accept some mistakes.

The fact the US standard is 100% perfection is telling.

Hence why in another thread I stated the Chinese have a LONG WAY TO GO before they are even close to being in the same league as the US.

I would like to see more information regarding the latest loss.

second US F-18 jet "lost at sea" in the Red Sea

they are very creative with their excuses for losing fighter jets due to Yemeni attacks

The price to carry out warcrimes against Yemen needs to be higher.

They are critical because the USN makes it look routine. No other country can do this at this scale.

It’s like the obsession over a single F-117 loss in Serbia when F-117s conducted over 850 successful sorties.

US lost 22 MQ-9 UCAVs and 2 F-18s in their attacks on Yemen so far
The US is attacking a country with no air force or credible air defence still they sustaining air losses.

Ukraine has shown weaker countries can cause pain if they are given half decent gear to fight with.

They are the same people who think the moon landings were faked.

The loss of the MQ-9s I can understand. They aren't exactly fast movers.

The equipment on an F-18 should allow them to defeat an SA-2 attack.
