Yemen Civil War News and Discussion.. an evolving situation

they did attack the truman hours before they announced the f/a-18 loss so i'm assuming that had something to do with it even if indirectly like how the attack last time caused the friendly fire incident

If it was loss due to defensive actions by the A/C while being targetted - then i would logically chalk that down to a Houthi "kill". ( A PAF Ground controller has a kill on their books by being able to convince a IAF pilot there was a Sabre on their tail moving in for the kill ... ).

And for what??? To protect the Jew state so it can continue a genocide of a population with no military

Even the yanks should be smart enough to understand the consequences of their own behaviour

US has always been a barbaric sadistic satanic evil regime

built on the deaths of 65 million native Americans, the slaves and deaths of 40 million Blacks then after that killing millions and millions of innocent people since WW2

we thought before Gaza that maybe just maybe Industrialisation and development had changed these colonial barbaric evil occupiers

I for one thought maybe the Leopard has changed its spots and that now with a large muslim population they will be more Human and less animal

I thought that better standards of living in the West has finally made them human

but no we were all wrong

these people won't change and will never change

Chinese now part of their school curriculum are showing videos of kids being blown apart in Gaza

China won't leave US for it is, they will exact a revenge on these people and rest of us will then simply join in

no Empire has a infinite life none

They are critical because the USN makes it look routine. No other country can do this at this scale.

It’s like the obsession over a single F-117 loss in Serbia when F-117s conducted over 850 successful sorties.

yes because no other country has killed 65,000 children in the last 18 months

No, evasive maneuvers from a carrier are standard defensive measures. It doesn’t mean other countermeasures failed.

Evasive maneuvers are standard defensive measures for carriers. A single F-18 loss will have little effect on US combat capability.

But if you lost the jet because it rolled off the deck because the ship had to make hard evasive manoeuvres, then let's face it that a houthi kill

The houthis forced you to take action that resulted in the loss of a F18

If the Houthis did nothing, the you would still have the plane

"A US official said that initial reports from the scene indicated that the Truman made a hard turn to evade Houthi fire, which contributed to the fighter jet falling overboard. The Houthi rebel group claimed on Monday to have launched a drone and missile attack on the aircraft carrier, which is in the Red Sea as part of the US military’s major anti-Houthi operation."

The ship is at least 800 KMs from the Yemeni coast. So if the ship had to make a hard turn from a Yemeni missile or drone, then that could only mean Ansarallah (Houthi) targeting must be getting pretty or close to accurate. Is that a correct assessment?
