Given how ineffective Iranian systems fired by the Houthis have been on direct attacks on USA/UK ships - Iran would tell well to consider its next steps. The only missiles that have gotten through, were those directed at merchant ships. Everything else has been intercepted and shot down.

The attack on the Jordan outpost was more luck than anything. A US drone was returning to base when the Hezbollah drone hit. It confused US air defense at the base. Just an hour after that attack, another drone was launched against a US base just across the border in Syria and it was shot down by a US Coyote drone.

It reminds me of the Serbs who boasted about shooting down a F-117, even though they flew hundreds of successful sorties during that war. It’s meaningless in the grand scheme.

US defenses won’t be 100% perfect all the time 24/7. If that’s the standard, then it just shows you how highly respected US military capability is.
