The Telegram channel Fighterbomber published a photo showing the flight of the first operational fifth-generation Su-57 fighters.
The image shows a Russian Su-57 of the Russian Aerospace Forces, photographed from the cockpit of another Su-57.
"These are the first combat pilots and the first Su-57s to enter service with a combat fighter regiment. We've finally arrived!" the statement said.
The first flight of the Su-57 prototype took place in 2010. This stealth fighter is equipped with modern onboard equipment, allowing the use of various types of weapons, including the latest cruise missiles such as the Kh-69.
Earlier, Rostec CEO Sergei Chemezov stated that the Su-57 5th generation multirole fighter, developed by the P. O. Sukhoi Design Bureau, is superior to its foreign counterparts in many ways.
