TWO OTING NOVELTIES WILL ENTER THE RUSSIAN MARKET
Novelties by the Oting brand — Z9 and Rich 7 pickups — have passed certification tests in China. According to the press service of Sinomach Auto, after passing certification for Russia, the models will make their debut on the Russian market.

Oting Rich 7 is an updated pickup based on Nissan Navara. The model is equipped with a leather interior with diamond-shaped stitching and a large multimedia screen. The power plant is represented by 228-HP petrol or 2.3-liter 166-HP diesel units. Both engines can be paired with 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic gear boxes and all-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive.

Z9 model is also based on the Nissan platform and differs, in addition to the options presented in Rich 7, by adaptive cruise control. It is equipped with a hybrid power plant with a total capacity of 359 HP. The range is up to 1,100 km.

NISSAN HAS APPLIED FOR TRADEMARK REGISTRATION IN RUSSIA
The Japanese Nissan has applied for registration of a number of trademarks in Russia, according to Rospatent. Patenting will take place according to the classes of the International Classification of Goods and Services (ICGS), which combine vehicles, retail and wholesale trade, as well as financial services.

Obtaining patents will give the company the right to sell cars, automotive components and accessories in Russia. It should be noted that this does not mean that the model will return to the Russian market.

In addition to Nissan, Datsun, Infiniti and Nismo brands have applied for trademark registration in the Russian Federation.

10 THOUSAND HAVAL M6 CARS ARE ASSEMBLED AT THE KALUGA PLANT
The Automobile Technologies plant in the Kaluga region produced the ten-thousandth Haval M6 crossover, assembled using the SKD assembly method.

According to the head of the region Vladislav Shapshi , in the future the plant plans to master a full production cycle, including welding and painting of bodies. The governor also stressed that in the first January-April 2025, 47 thousand cars rolled off the assembly lines of the region's car factories, as a result of which a significant increase in production volumes is predicted.

MOSKVICH PLANS TO MASTER PRODUCTION OF HYBRID CARS IN 2027-2028
The Moskvich plant is considering the possibility of starting production of cars equipped with hybrid power plants, according to Vadim Ponomarev, the company's director of product engineering.

The matter concerns replenishing the line-up with hybrid models of various classes, including sedans and SUVs.

Recall that earlier, the plant reported sales of 1,430 cars in May this year, which was a 18% decline on the similar period of the previous year (sales of brand cars in May 2024 amounted to 1,750 units).
