Production of electric cars developed by Russian engineers will begin in Russia by the end of 2025, RuNews24 reports.

Becema continues to introduce the line-up of BECEMA Format dumpers on the BAZ chassis.

BECEMA Format dumper designed for transporting soil and sand-gravel mixtures has 6×6 wheel arrangement and a 16 m3 body.

Key features of the model are as follows:

- the body of the Format series complies with Euro-5 emission standard;

- absence of side stiffeners due to innovative design, which reduces overall weight and minimizes the number of welds;

- double-layer bottom with reverse bending of the top sheet for enhanced protection from shock loads and preventing cargo from sticking in winter;

- the use of high-strength steel (the thickness of sides is 6 mm, the bottom is 8 mm) provides increased wear resistance with reduced weight, which has a positive effect on load capacity.

KAMAZ-54901 running on LNG is a gas–powered version of the K5 generation flagship. In this modification, the vehicle with index 54901 is equipped with KAMAZ R6 (Euro-5) gas engine capacity of 460 HP, an automatic gear box and two cryotanks holding 1,060 liters of liquefied natural gas.
