Z-10 ME/P deliveries Updates: Pakistan Army Aviation.

Pakistan AH-1Z are likely going to Slovakia at a slight discount.

Nothing can be bought from Turkey until they make their own powerplant and the Z-10 is on hold pending purchases in MLRS, SPs - Tanks and the armored luxury staff cars for the brass
They could be looking at rotary UCAVs too.

Zhuhai has some revelations - the biggest issue is adapting them to the extremely varied environment (and getting more extreme) in terms of powerplant and what is a VERY powerful and disruptive EW threat from the east.

No type of UCAV will be replacement of attack helicopters. I think Z-10 will come and come soon.

Helicopter can shoot long range TV guided missiles like what Russia does with LMUR. This is the way to go forward for helicopters.

UCAVs will for sure replace attack helis and every manned system present today. The UCAVs are only going to be more powerful, intelligent and deadly with every passing year.

Why to put pilot within the machine itself, in a so hostile environment? The pilot can be remotely placed in a safe location. Pilot adds lot of unnecessary equipment to the machine, many accessories, oxygen systems, additional cost, additional weight, so much weight of the armor to protect the pilots, bullet proof glass, the whole design of cockpit and all the stuff inside is unnecessary. All those touchscreens, panels, buttons, stick will be at remote location along with pilot. The design for placing a human in a machine itself compromises lot of things. When pilot is not included then you can design the UCAV with much more flexibility and geared towards battle efficiency.

I am sure, within this decade there will appear much more capable / powerful UCAVs with far more capabilities then attack helis.

Modern nations are already planning to replace their attack helis with UCAVs:
