Gud hogaya u do know those CMs use MMW seeker which needs pre fed data right ?
 
Im glad Pakistanis rejected Z-10 in 2016 that earlier model it had an under powered engine and various other list of other shortcomings. Now this updated one has more powerful engine now hence more weapons loads, better armour and overall performance.

I'm guessing here but maybe the missiles, rockets etc were needed for the live fire demo?
We have to wait for sources to confirm the MMW, otherwise we are all guessing.

Very interesting that the "Label" on the T-Shirts of the Chinese experts says "K2 Project". Maybe that is the name of the development and procurement project as Changhe Aircraft Industries Corporation refers to it !!!

With flying machines, power issues affect everything. When underpowered, you have to reduce the weight of the craft itself as much as possible. PLAGF stopped procuring the Z-10 a long time ago. now the new production Z-10ME2 (PLAGF's self-use version) is also mainly used to replace and update the earlier Z-10/Z-19. it's total number of helicopters in service hasn't changed much. the helicopters that PLAGF has procured in additional numbers have been in the Z-20 family.

In PLAGF's current concept of operations, a helicopter gunship of the class of the Z-10 has been marginalized. It still has some use, but not much.

PLAGF is currently in the process of reforming the Army Air Corps. In the future, the Army Air Corps will no longer exist on its own; in its place will be the Air Assault Brigade. ------ You can think of it simply as a combination of the Land Air Corps and Special Forces.

Under this operational concept, the Z-10ME2 is hardly up to the tactical task in question. Concept of the helicopter. The future Z-21 is the perfect product of this operational concept. (The current Air Assault Brigade still utilizes the Z-10ME2/Z-20T for this purpose.)

Earlier Z10 wasn't build for Pakistan requirements and conditions that is why Pakistan had to chose other options
But when Pakistan requested changes in Z10 and more development in helicopter
China worked on that and made it according to Pakistan needs.
So that's why Pakistan finally got happy with the machine.
Because when it comes to defense you need to think about many details of the equipment which suits your requirements and environments.
The day china provided the required and wished machine
We Pakistanis opted for it like other equipments.

Probably , during the earlier trials in northern areas it was found lacking in performance at high altitudes.... hence the new version is dubbed as k2 project.
 
I have a question will these choppers be able to launch kamikaze drones like let's say mini Sarkash with 500km range,
Each hardpoint would be carrying 2 of these missiles total external weight carrying capacity of Z10ME is 1500kg, total 8 of these missiles per chopper.
India tries it's shannigans against us, PAF fights in the air while these choppers equipped with Sarkash will can do relentless barrage of missiles, F Series of batteries on the ground along blaze and Sarkash Ground launched batteries, the drone force, this would pack enough firepower that PAF wouldn't need to involve itself on Air to ground front, theoretically it would allow the PAF to take on A2A and DEAD/SEAD ops.
30 Z10 MEs = 240 missiles single volley, quick reload advantage,
50 F1 GMLRS launchers = 400 missiles in one volley.
Imagine the havoc it could cause among indians, the Choppers could quickly reload and pop up launch missiles. They wouldn't be needing any bases remote locations can be prepared in mints,
I refuse to believe Z10ME is just for Anti armour purposes or anti fortifications.

Has Pakistan already paid for these birds, like the F-16s during Benazir time, or not, or are they being financed from the CSF ??
