I just had a look at the video from the captain's meet on ACC's YouTube channel but it does not show Rashid smirking when Litton was speaking. Have you seen any other footage from a different angle?

গত রাত ১২টার দিকে আতাউর রহমান বিক্রমপুরী ফেসবুক লাইভে আসেন। লাইভ চলাকালে ফোনে মুহিব্বুল্লাহর মেয়েকে সংযুক্ত করা হয়। সেখানে মেয়েটি জানান, তার বড় ভাই ফোনে জানিয়েছে— তাদের বাবা নিজেই স্বীকার করেছেন যে, সব কিছু তিনি নিজের ইচ্ছায় করেছেন।
এরপর রাত আড়াইটার দিকে বিক্রমপুরী আবার লাইভে আসেন। সে সময় তার পুলিশের সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ হয়। পুলিশ তাকে জানায়, তিনি চাইলে মসজিদের ভেতরে যেতে পারেন, তবে তার সঙ্গে সর্বোচ্চ একজন মুরিদ যেতে পারবেন।
ফোনে মুহিব্বুল্লাহ নিজেই কথা বলেন এবং জানান, “আমি নিজেই সব করেছি। নিজের পরিকল্পনায় পঞ্চগড়ে গিয়েছি, গুম হওয়ার অভিনয় করেছি, ঘটনাটি ভাইরাল করেছি। তাই তোমরা আর এই বিষয় নিয়ে বাড়াবাড়ি করো না।”
মুহিব্বুল্লাহ মিয়াজী সামাজিক মাধ্যমে মাওলানা মুফতি মুহিব্বুল্লাহ মাদানী নামেই বেশি পরিচিত। তিনি এর আগে দাবি করেছিলেন, গত ২২ অক্টোবর সকাল ৭টার দিকে টঙ্গীর শিলমুন এক্সিস লিংক সিএনজি ফিলিং অ্যান্ড কনভার্সন সেন্টারের সামনে থেকে তাকে অপহরণ করে একটি অ্যাম্বুলেন্সে তুলে নেওয়া হয়। পরদিন পঞ্চগড়ে হাত-পা বাঁধা অবস্থায় উদ্ধারের কথাও নিজেই সংবাদমাধ্যমে জানিয়েছিলেন।
তিনি আরও বলেছিলেন, অপহরণের আগে টানা কয়েকদিন একের পর এক উড়ো চিঠির মাধ্যমে হুমকি পেয়েছিলেন এবং অপহরণের পর একটি পুরো দিন নির্যাতনের শিকার হয়েছিলেন বলে দাবি করেছিলেন।

Before his disappearance, Mohibullah’s family discovered two threatening letters — one inside the mosque veranda and another near their home. The letter, dated September 14, 2025, contained a chilling warning and a drawing of a man in Islamic attire being held at knifepoint.

“He is stable now but still weak. He remembers being sprayed with something and beaten. His ears are damaged, and he feels dizzy when sitting,” said hospital sources.
District Commissioner Sabet Ali visited the imam at the hospital, while police confirmed they informed Tongi Police Station and his relatives.

Hefazat leaders in their statement cited multiple past incidents, alleging that ISKCON has long been involved in criminal and extremist activities.

In June 2021, the Probhortok Sangha, a Sanatan organization in Chattogram, accused ISKCON of land grabbing, violence, and conspiracy. The statement further alleged that ISKCON, “under the influence of foreign embassies,” has built bases across the country “in Israeli style” and managed to manipulate parts of Bangladesh’s administration.
They added that ISKCON’s leader Chinmoy Krishna Das was arrested last year over child sexual abuse allegations, and his followers attacked Chattogram court premises, killing lawyer Advocate Saiful Islam Alif.
