You are comparing Hovercraft that were not designed for amphib assault to amphib assault ships.

Pak Marines have never had an amphib assault role.

It is like me comparing our Ground attack Mirages to B-2 Bombers. Both are designed to drop bombs and can take out ground tarfgets.

You are comparing Hovercraft that were not designed for amphib assault to amphib assault ships.

Pak Marines have never had an amphib assault role.

It is like me comparing our Ground attack Mirages to B-2 Bombers. Both are designed to drop bombs and can take out ground tarfgets.

They have amphibious assault role, but its extremely limited. It will make sense when you look at the amphibious assault exercise pics with other countries again. The lack of Landing ships doesn't mean the role isn't there. Hovercrafts are multirole, they are not designed for just one role only.
