Pakistan Missiles - Updates, News & Discussion

If indeed this was a test, then that cloud isn't made by the glide vehicle. It's made by the booster. You won't even see the glide vehicle itself.
Nope, we saw this recently in Chinese test the HGV reaches extreme temperatures in the upper atmosphere at high speed and hence the trails

When it touches the atmosphere edge. But at the stage the pics over Quetta were taken, the boost vehicle needs to go at a certain trajectory to release the glide vehicle. Hence the funny cloud formation.

The heat trails from the HGV might be seen somewhere in the middle of the Indian Ocean (if the test indeed happened).

Whatever it's, it looks like a missile out of control. it doesn't look like a success. i hope they test it again after some time. We really need hypersonic cruise missile.
Are you sure?

Keep the fact in mind that this is not 2D image this object is not only going back and forth but also descending at the same time. So if it dives in one direction and then changes its angle and dives in an another direction it would seem to just go onga bonga to a man looking at it standing on the earth.

The NOTAM is still active, expect another test tomorrow and I am guessing the ISPR Presser will follow,

disclaimer:
Not an expert on missiles, all i know about missiles is that you ignite the back end, it flies up and goes boom on the target.

You'll likely see the plasma cloud around the glide vehicle if tested in the upper atmosphere either during dawn or dusk. The cloud most likely will resemble a sperm - as we have seen in the Chinese tests.

Let me tell you bro. Many of us here are at the same level of expertise though we try to act as Sherlock Holmes of the missile world.
