everyone crashes, we wanted to join "that" club too.....

Literally refrencing crashes from 2013 when theres more examples of iaf crashes just this year than in the last decade of other airforces they are refrencing

Over there on X (Twitter), a lot of Indians were making fun of PAF not flying the JF-17 due to a technical issue in the craft, moments later the Tejas crashed.

They got owned by their own big mouths.

Condolences to the family of the pilot.

Condolences to the pilot,

This was bound to happen the plane was not maintained, it’s a terrible design and it was leaking oil. Yet the Indians still flew it.

Pretty sure this was done to buy more rafales as no Air Force would ever buy an aircraft that has had two crashes and is not even operational

Kv

I am sure the static display aircraft that leaked "something" did not take part in the flying display? Are you suggesting that? Normally an airforce will send, 2 or 3 planes if they are doing a display aswell.

Bharat reaction ...

Based on the vid, just looks to me like jet was too low for that manoeuvre? You can see that the plan was to get quite low to the ground before climbing but hit the ground instead. On the flip side, can’t believe a modern jet with all its gizmos could allow such an error without all manner of warnings?

Are you telling me they've lost 6.667% of their inventory on crashes? One more crash and they're sitting at 10%.

Clear pilot error...unfortunate for an experienced fighter pilot to loose his life in such unfortunate circumstances.
The pilot must be disoriented as he was too low coming into the turn n then to do a roll while the ac is decending and loosing altitude is unfortunate to say the least.
