It must have something to do with this


Gearbox is from German ZF series and the engine is from Kamaz products. Given Kamaz has no contract with Iranian side, i guess these engines were imported from UAE. Kamaz if i'm not mistaken has a production line in UAE and Azerbaijan.

If Iran wants full ToT, Kamaz will offer what is best for itself. Buy a large amount of Russian products and then production line and ToT will be allowed.

I got disappointed with Toophan MRAP long ago esp when i found out that its just an assembly product not a fully indigenous product.

maybe it is part of free trade agreement, iran exports lot of products in russia and they send some of their which are suitable for iran and military/police needs are always open for bussiness, i assume it some sort of handling trade balance.

The exercises titled “Joint Counter-Terrorism Drills Sahand-2025” are being held in the northwestern Iranian Province of East Azarbaijan from the 1st to 5th of December. According an IRGC commander, the exercises are of utmost significance.
