Even though Türkiye was removed from the F-35 program, a Turkish engineer's most critical special product is still being used in F-35
Because turkey bought s 400

It's an unproven claim. F-35's incorporate carbon nano tube fiber mat into its skin. This material is effective against L band radar. There are claims of detection however it's important to note the pilot of the F-35 can choose to reveal his/her position to an emitter depending on circumstances. In other words, detecting an F-35 beyond 40 NM isn't always possible. Particularly when the sensor is operating in a dense EM environment - typical during active military operations. Note I said 40 NM, that is approximately the range at which an IR sensor can detect/track the F-35 again because the F-35 isn't optimized for MWIR. Detecting an F-35 at a 110 km at peace time doesn't necessarily guarantee the same outcome during hostilities.

Do your doubts about their radar capabilities stem from some unexpected sophistication or skill you possess?

The TF-23 KAAN already has advanced thermoplastic fiber (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastic - CFRTP) for low observability (stealth), including , and domestically developed Radar Absorbing Materials as like the F-35 Lightening.

This highlights how the teacher-student roles can sometimes be reversed, with younger people offering wisdom or support in areas typically taken for granted by older generations.

CFRTP is also used to make bicycles - so what? Frankly, I don't know anything about the TF-23 KAAN. Perhaps it will be the best 5th Gen fighter when it becomes operational. If it is then it's great for the US and NATO.

NATO NANo tech scientific disciplines is old science.

A first in Türkiye: A ramjet engine was ignited in mid-air for the first time.

A ramjet-powered prototype device developed as part of the test was integrated with a booster rocket system within a hybrid rocket architecture and launched from the ground. After the system reached the specified altitude and speed, stage separation was performed. Following stage separation, the ramjet engine ignited in mid-air, fulfilling the planned firing pattern, and continued its air-breathing flight.

Did they report the range this platform achieved ( appreciate it may not be a weapons platform yet ) ?

No, they was not reporting any numbers. The point of this test was to check the ramjet engine’s performance in real-world conditions. Testing range comes later, once you’ve decided how to use it. You might build a hypersonic glide vehicle or use it to greatly extend the reach of artillery rockets.

Take artillery rockets, for instance—those with a 230 mm diameter can hit targets about 400 km away. Even with a small explosive warhead, that kind of range is possible with a highly mobile system.

📍ROKETSAN General Manager Murat İkinci:

▪️Work is ongoing for GÖKBORA to enter service as an 'beyond-visual-range missile family.'

▪️It is a missile that can be launched from both KIZILELMA and our F-16s, as well as from various other platforms.

▪️GÖKBORA is currently one of the fastest developing missiles. Hopefully, we will add it to the inventory very quickly.

▪️Engine development work has been completed.

Ramjet engine is finished....:D

Honestly agree I’m for Muslim or even jointly produced planes like kaan or jf 17 but kaan hasn’t even finished trail flights or as far as I know shot off any weapons f 22 f 35 su 57 and so on have faced many hurdles I hope people don’t think because kaan is Muslim product there won’t be any issues in the future?

Ps not going to lie I’ve been more interested in South Korean products I honestly think many Arab and Muslim countries should join up on the kf 21 project

Ramjet is good, but I hope they don't give up on the pulse motor missiles, there are still advantages there.

especially with the AIM-260 and the Sky Sting from Israel which is a triple pulse missile that 250+km.

Gokdogan followup would be a good idea, to not fall behind on motors and sensors for missiles. I feel BVR missiles are going to be THE defining element going forwards. And at the apex, I don't think the best stuff will be for export in other countries.

My estimate, I would say given the kinematics and the miniaturization os sensors and cutting down of weight and the fact that its a new design Gokdogan is atleast between 150-180km

Dual pulse rocket engine with a solid booster = 180 km ( GOKDOGAN-ER BVR Missile)

and Turkish special boron-loaded kerosene gel fuel = significant speed and kinetic energy during flight with expanded no-escape envelope ( GOKHAN BVR Missile )

I think we should equip the current Gökdoğan missile with a dual pulse engine. That's probably what they'll do.
