brother they pledged allegiance to isis , do that in any country and you will be charged as a terrorist , and not only that but she was brainwashing other young women too with her husband and attacking people who she deemed as unislamic
here in the UK, hate speech, promoting racism or disseminating terrorist organisation propaganda or encouraging someone to join etc, are serious criminal offences but not terrorism. It is also un-Islamic to do that.
In the UK, capital punishments are banned anyway. Even in Pakistan, it is not liable to death, but at max, long sentences.
However, the UK wasn't involved in radicalizing its people like we did in 80s. Gazi's father Maulvi Abdullah was part of Zia's majlis-e-shura. Zia sought his counsel many times. 80's mujaideen used to stay teh same red mosque. It was patronized as a Jihad station. Not to mention, maulvi Abdullah wd might have guided in Zia's pardeh and shariah campaigns. It was a strategic asset for Kashmir and the Afghan Jihad.
The siege and assault on Lal Masjid took place in July 10 years ago. Eos looks at how that moment impacted militancy.

Now, when Mushi cam and tooka u-turn, not only did he face opposition within ranks but also here. Otherwise, the Red Mosque was doing the same things as before, but then they were punished with lethal force.
So it was the government's fault anyway. They kept the public away from education (still <2% education budget) but radicalised instead.
as i have said i don't think this was done properly , too much force was used and we lost too many good men , we should have just besieged them but again i also get mushi's pov he was under immense pressure and having a terrorist mosque under siege in your capital is a very bad look
A leader's job is to take pressure and not kill their civilians. The army's job is to give life to save public lives. We don't burn our own house over prtty crime under pressure.
Red mosque students were the nation's children. They broke the law and didn't kill anybody until the operation started. Even then, the response was not proportionate. Burning the mosque was too much.
P.S. I don't believe the government pov. For me, it was burnt during the clearance operation.
