I'm not voting for PTI if Imran Khan dies. Without him PTI is just leftovers from PPP and PMLN. Bottom feeders who switch parties.
You should also give up PTI if that happens.
Thank you. I liked your honest response and your response reflects what almost other 80% here think in that Poll on the PTI thread. And if you consider how much time and energy Pakistanis spent over the decades following a 'leader' who didn't even groom a proper team; he was the PM of Pakistan, the darling of many Pakistanis, he had control of two provinces, he had a large part of the media, he had some top Generals fully supporting him and yet... in less then three years after his ouster from power, there is nothing to show for except a circus of a 'political party' and Cultists.

For example, what happened when the private Saudi jet IK was flying in was suddenly returned to New York?

Who did IK meet in the UNGA sidelines that did not please the Saudis? What good did ever come of it?
What happened in those two cases??
That was him not knowing how to avoid a VONC in the first place. Even he admitted USA had nothing to do with it.
The coward couldn't even face a routine VONC! What a 'democrat' which his Cultists here are championing!! Oh, as I was reading Dawn's archives a few hours ago, I noticed that the leader of the Baluchistan Assembly had lost his role due to a VONC and he bowed out--and that was just a few weeks before Imran's VONC. Difference between to men!

You really should read up more on IK's dreams that he discussed with Erdogan and Mahatir on UNGA sidelines, and how it was taken by the Saudis, right up to the point the jet was ordered around, the Pakistanis unceremoniously dumped back in NY, only to come back in a commercial flight.

If anything, that was a much bigger deal than the claimed contents of the cipher from which IK never recovered. And the pity was it was all so unnecessary.

Saudi masters of Pakistan 🇵🇰 didn’t like IK and offloaded him from their plane. American masters of Pakistan 🇵🇰 didn’t like IK and offloaded him from his govt. IK is always at fault because he can’t avoid getting himself offloaded by real masters of Pakistan. 🙄

The old phrase about not biting off more than one can chew comes to mind. Those who ignore it only choke themselves by being hastily over-ambitious.

Those who ignore it only choke themselves by bring hastily over-ambitious.
That’s what I am saying. IK was over ambitious in his goals which Pakistan’s real masters such as US and Saudi Arabia didn’t like. Especially, when they were so used & accustomed to "leaders" like Nawaz and Zardari. 🤭

So what has that to do with what IK claimed he would create? And just how could he have done that given the people he chose to be around him?

IK’s idea of Riyasat e Madina is a welfare Islamic state built on justice, equality, rule of law and leaders accountable to the people. In that system even generals like Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed R.A could be removed by the leader without resistance. We all know what happened in Faujistan when Nawaz Sharif tried the same. You keep comparing politicians to Zia Ul Haq even though he wasn't a politician, he was just another dictator from GHQ.

IK was over ambitious in his goals

That is only IK's fault. One does not run before learning how to walk, and he barely knew how to crawl, and even that by holding onto an adult's hand. Blaming others is utterly pointless.

That is only IK's fault.
We all know everything is IK’s fault. We get that! He really made a mistake at getting born in the first place, so he shouldn’t get any second chances as they’re reserved for everyone else! Even Sheikh Mujeeb got a second chance after he was let out of prison in a proven conspiracy case! But not IK! NOT IK! He is not allowed to make any mistakes! 🙄

he shouldn’t get any second chances

Of course he should get another chance. It is up to the choices he is willing to make to get a second chance. I expect him to choose wisely as much as he is able to, and I would respect his right to make them as he wishes.
