if you have evidence of equivalent damage to similarly important Israeli military sites, feel free to share it, rather than engaging in the usual copium.

we saw from satellite imagery of Nevatim and Tel Nof from Operation True Promise II that 180-200 missiles only damaged 4-5 buildings, which do not appear critical. all evidence suggests that the level of damage inflicted by each side is not comparable at all.

If Israel did not suffer significant damages; and if Iran suffered irreversible damage, along with the barrage of missiles slowing down significantly; you could have been damn sure Israel would have gone for the kill.

Israelis like to finish the job, especially when they see fear, weakness, and a total victory for themselves.

So just like the international media narrative on how they completely obliterated Hezbollah, and Hezbollah doesn’t have any of its prior capabilities intact, I would err on the side of caution on the Iran reporting as well.

Well obviously , Iran is going to double down on a weapon that Israelis actually fear. But why would a "secret" report like this be released? Is it get more budget for something ? Or Israelis are now going to whine about this to the West ?

The media war is very much relevant. The psy ops are part of the multi-faceted attack on Iran. Pointing out that they dominate the media and thus spread lies through deception is not off-topic. Posting trash from unverified sources on X is no different than posting the daily garbage that Iran has built 6th generation aircraft, or Iran has wonder weapons, etc.
 
Laser Weapons are not powerful enough to obliterate targets on a mere second after impact.

Therefore, technically nothing can stop Hypersonic Missiles now. Nothing.

Even if Lasers miraculously manage to get a line-of-sight illumination on one, Hypersonics are built to withstand high temperatures due to the speeds involved and can't be disintegrated instantly, meaning the missile will still hit its target even if a laser manage to hit it for a micro-second.

a) lure Iran into false sense of security

b) milk more money from the U.S. taxpayers

C) control power at home using the Iranian boogeyman

People still fall for Israeli tricks after what happened in June.

If Iran was really rapidly arming Israel wouldn’t sit idle or be proclaiming it in the news.

I suspect Iranian (and Russian) radars ended up performing very poorly against Israeli/American EW and jamming.

There is no reason a Hermes-900 should be able to fly over Tehran with a RCS of a Christmas’s tree on radar when it couldn’t fly in South Lebanon. Russians had the same problem with Tb-2 early days of war until they rolled out stronger radars and more AD rings. Then TB-2 disappeared from the news.

Iran is back to the drawing board on how to shore up more EW resistant radars. Maybe short term gap is importing from China or working more directly with Russians to address what techniques Israelis were using. And also replacing the S-300 radars that were hit the last 2 years with more capable ones instead of relying on their less capable backups.

Yes, this should be priority number #1......the enemy has shown their hands, we know how they think, how the attack, now we need to shore up defences to counter that. I would 1000% lean towards Chinese Air defences over Russian ones. Yes, I know it would cost a lot and China may not be in the mood to sell, however, IADS is a defensive weapon, so there shouldn't be an outcry for it....Again, the first priority should be blunting air superiority, the second should be more and more hypersonics and mobile TELs.
It's the hypersonics that freaked them out......we should oblige them with more.

new head of Air Force appointed.

Brigadier General Ali Akbar Talebzadeh was the Deputy Commander of the Iranian Army's Air Force, now he has been appointed as the Commander, replacing previous commander Hamid Vahedi

former head Sabahifard was appointed the head in February 2025, lasting only 10 months in the position.
