The pivot point of problems in the last four years is Asim Munir. That is the end of the discussion.

Sure, and that is exactly why you got called out first by Oscar and then by myself for a reductionist approach despite trying to masquerade it behind "analysis" - could have come out clean the first time around that you have a problem with one person who also happens to have a problem with another one person (1 + 1 = 2, already not a binary simplistic issue) and this has nothing to do with the 27 country learning experience but a mere emotional response.

Tell me who did not accepted elections the will of people

Americans are working with Pakistan, probably for the first time, in a relationship that is based on trade rather than aid.

we you born yesterday?

Musharraf ran with same punch line....

. President Trump is an admirer of Field Marshal Asim Munir and has invited him to the White House multiple times.

You and I, we all know exactly who refused it. It wasn’t the people, and it was him and the one who brought him. It was Asim Munir who denied the mandate, and the whole world knows it too.

You can complicate it with long paragraphs, fancy wording, or intellectual gymnastics if you want I really don’t mind. But the truth is simple When a state refuses to accept its own people’s vote, the world stops respecting that state. If your own citizens have no respect inside their own country, why would the international community respect them?
That is exactly why our passport has fallen to the second worst in the world not because of the people, but because those in power denied the people’s mandate.

Well it wasn't just one person or even one institution as you may want to "simplistically" force here. Other political and elite stakeholders were all involved. Not to mention the citizens who didn't vote at all because perhaps they didn't care who governs them.

Just ask yourself this question, who was it that rejected his retirement summary back in 2022?

Fair point. I appreciate an honest and balanced view.

Also, I guess this doesn't apply anymore?

The root cause of the rot in Pakistan today is the army. To answer your question, if you remove the army from the equation will all problems be solved ? Yes I believe so.

Pakistan needs merely to run according to its constitution and let its politics , its institutions, its culture and its people mature and evolve. All the problems will be solved by these forces themselves, just like they are in normal countries worldwide. Pakistan needs to be a normal country.

The army has refused to allow the politics or institutions or people or economy or civil society to grow and mature, instead it has stunted and degraded everything except itself. The army has refused to let Pakistanis live in a normal country.

So now that Imran Khan is openly calling out this army, its ugly mindset and its treacherous destructive ways, he should be supported. It doesn't matter what Imran did in the past.

How will removing the army solve the problem. The corrupt civilian leadership will sell even the tanks to make money.

This is linked to PTI and 9th May. Sentencing recently retired DGISI is breaking news, never happened before.

General Faiz Hameed sentenced to 14 years in Jail: 4 Accusations:
Involving in political affairs
Misusing state resources [housing society)
Going against official secret act
Harming Pakistan citizens (9 May)

We all know this is all due to maintaining political relations with PTI, in office and outside of office, although not mentioned but he is accused of 9th May with PTI, possibly military coup. Imran Khan also mentioned someone from military gives him information.

Imran Khan is a charismatic speaker and personality; but when you look beyond the surface and look at his record, he doesn’t have much to show.

I saw part of that video but nothing new to me: I had Imran figured out a few years ago for what now more and more people are realizing: He is a psychopath. Like Nawaz and Altaf, Imran too is being sidelined. Some personality flaws are absolutely toxic for Pakistan.

Gen. Faiz at one time was the second most powerful person in Pakistan--right behind the Army Chief himself. Good that he is paying for his crimes!

A very simplistic, self-serving 'narrative' has been planted by Imran in his fanbois' club: 'Army, Army, Army. East Pakistan. Mujib. Real Freedom. ' Blah blah. But it was Imran himself who was licking Bajwa's feet into 2022 to prevent the No Confidence Motion and only when he failed in that endeavor he turned against the Army. Who is he and his followers trying to fool?!

Bajwa was also with him but I think after retirement he backed off whilst Faiz Hameed as alleged continued his links with PTI and Imran Khan. Imran Khan himself mentioned he gets info from within the ISI. So in a way he forced the current leaders to go after Imran Khan connections. What's shocking is he is recently retired DGISI, all the current guys are his own lieutenants.
